enjoying 'antidotes' so looking forward to this.

I'm looking forward to this too, but I fear that they'll come back with exactly the same sound.

I'm hoping for a progression of some sort...

I was very disappointed in Antidotes. Electric Bloom was my favourite track on it. Nothing else did anything for me. I hope for a new sound and direction. They clearly had ideas and a hunger to make something good. Like Bloc Party.

I quite like their last album, some interesting music, hopefully they dont change themseleves to dramatically, i want a progression not a full on change, this has the potenial to be really good.

I thought 'Antidotes' was underrated to be honest. Would've been better with 'Hummer' and 'Mathletics' but it was a fairly decent album overall. Look forward to this...

Wasn't impressed with Antidotes tbf, but i was unexperienced and only on about 4th chapter of 'Indie Music For Dummies' book :( The singles were amazing however. 'Cassius' is pure love. :wub: Interested to see what they'd be now :o

Love the key change (i think that's how it's called?), it adds so much to the song. :wub: Spectacular return! ADORE the lyrics btw.

f*** it, best thing they have done, (only things close maybe 'Red Sock Pugie', 'Olympic Airways' and 'The Frech Open'), this really has exceeded my expectation.

Kinda Doves/Sigur Ros. Alot of people are going to be surprised by this. This album could be great.

This is absolutely stunning!!!!

 

If this is anything to go by then the second album could be as big a leap as Radiohead made between Pablo Honey and The Bends.

Very nice.

Love this, great to hear some new stuff from them.

This has got me PROPER excited for the album now too.

'The Orient' just had its first play on Radio 1. I literally just missed it. Ugh.

Apparently the video will be put on the Radio 1 site at 8pm though. Looking forward to ittt.
