@ Annie-May : It doesn't matter because Keisha can never win.

Edited by StateOfMind

I forsee another album-delay though, because I supposed they can't use the Sugababe name when the court thing is going on. Maybe that's what Keisha is after. She knows she can never win but maybe she just wants another album-delay to see them do bad.
It makes me laugh how you people always think the worst of Keisha because of what Heidi and Amelle have said  There's two sides to every story and while there were no doubt issues with Keisha I'm not defending I think it's quite disgusting how people seem to despise her based on a one sided story. Aled

The quotes that I posed were not by Heidi and Amelle.

One of the quotes was Keisha HERSELF. So that's the second side of the story. There you go.

@ Annie-May : It doesn't matter because Keisha can never win.

Well, we don't know HALF of what went on with those girls so if this is true, there must be some truth in this. She wouldn't go into this lightly, and her lawyers would have looked at the evidence to see if there was a case...which, if this is true, they obviously think there is.

And cases like these take months to get started, so I doubt it was an overnight job just to delay their album release. She'd have filed this months ago and it's only now that it's getting started (again, if true).

Maybe the case will get something good out of it. At least we get closure. I'm sure Siobhan, Mutya, managers, ex-managers etc. will be used for this case. So maybe all the truths will finally come out.

I can see Siobhan rolling her eyes if she gets called up to the witness stand.

"Not MORE Sugababes sh*t".

Seriously. I picture her walking in with sunglasses on, hair blowing in the wind and dressed in all black. She's grand!

Tbh, I'm no Keisha fan but Sugababes is HER brand. She was booted out of it, so it makes sense to try and reclaim some dignity/get what's rightfully hers/maybe a bit of revenge along the way. She's completely within her right if she chooses to do this.
Hasn't she got better things to do?
Keisha talking about Heidi:

"I was a complete bitch to Heidi at first because I just couldn't get over the fact that we had been working hard from the age of 12 and then this girl comes from nowhere and has it handed to her on a plate. I made her life hell, to the point that she wanted to go home."

Siobhan talking about Keisha:

"There was no doubt that I was pushed out. It was clear that there was someone in that band who never wanted me in it and that’s Keisha. She never wanted me in that band and made my life a living hell. I’ll never forgive her. Though no-one forgives that first bully in their lives, do they? No-one does."

This was posted by someone on DigitalSpy.

I was shocked.

I always heard Keisha is a bully but this is awful. It's horrible. Now I am officially on the 4.0 support wagon and hope Keisha's solo career will burn in hell and that Keisha herself will burn in hell too. (She ruined Sugababes 1.0 :().

Good thing Heidi was strong enough. Poor Siobhan.

Christ on a bike.

Both Mutya and Keisha have admitted they were nasty to Heidi at first. THEY WERE 16 YEAR OLD GIRLS FFS hardly unnatural behaviour. It happens at every high school in the country.

And the second quote is about 3years old. Siobhan was attempting to flog her second album at the time and epic failed.

Whatever the reason or the age is. It's never OK, and/or normal.

I guess Keisha never lost her habit of bullying people.

Dear 4.0 Loons/Keisha Haterz/Retarded Morons etc...

I'm going to tell you the story of how the name Sugababes came into being. A story which i very highly doubt Heidi, Amelle and Jade could tell you.

12 years ago when Siobhan, Mutya and Keisha were recording their first tracks together to send to labels to get them signed, their first manager dubbed them 'My little sugababies' because Mutya and Keisha would always stop to pick up sweets and other sugary snacks on their way to the studio from school to see them through the night. When the time came to send the demo's out and they needed a name there were many thrown into the hat [Mutya championed Qtz] and it was suggested that they used Sugababies. However the trio thought it sounded young, and it wouldn't serve them well a few years down the line when they were older [Quite obvious where the bands drive and ambition is located] so K/Mut suggest Sugababes and the rest is chart history.

The End.

I personally am behind Keisha 10000000000000%

She has the right to do this, she put 12years of work into the brand name. A name she created and she knew what it stood for. It's been obvious since Mutya left their former we don't use sex to sell mantra has gone as the managements influence has grown. -_-

As someone else very rightly pointed out, She hasn't worken up this morning a said 'Today i'm going to sue the Sugababes' it'll have been a long time coming. I imagine Mutya has had something to do with this [Once more quite rightfully so] and trust me when i say this, you can't just file a claim like this overnight. There will have been months of research, pouring over contracts and consultation between Keisha and the lawyers. They won't have bothered with this if they didn't think they would win.

Heidi, Amelle and Jade have no right to use the brand name. The management think that they do so have stuck with it, but the management have a distinct lack of morals and are utter dickwanks.

The only 3 girls that have the right to use the name are Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan.

She's perfectly within the law to do this, she'll have started this late Sept/Early Oct after the initial shock and pain of having what you have work so hard to achieve for 12years taken away from you has sunk in. If you worked your ass off for 12years to launch a brand name, that you created. One that went on to have worldwide success and be worth a bomb taken away from you. Something you'd worked half your life to achieve just ripped from your grasp would you not be very pissed off? Would you not sue them to $h!t?

If you answered yes to those questions you can get off your high horse, and if you answered no then your either moronic or naive.

Mother f***ing win. I love you Phil.

Silas - I honestly don't believe Siobhan spoke about how & why she left the group to try and sell records. Why? Because ever since she left she's been saying the same thing - even before she released her first record. I just think it's a case of people caring more about why she left instead of her music (which is a shame) and she answers those questions everytime. I'm sure they'll be asked again when her next record is released, too. That's one thing I respect about her - she doesn't give a f*ck. She won't mess fans about like Heidi & Amelle saying crap like "oh, it was unbearable. She was awful...but I still respect her". Siobhan pulled out the damn list and told us everything we wanted to know re: why her being in the band didn't work out. I like her honesty. There was no p*ssy-footing around. And you know, she's been saying the same thing for the last ten years.

I'm going off a bit here, but I've just read yet ANOTHER story from Heidi & Amelle about Keisha and I just think instead of saying it was unbearable, tell us WHY it was unbearable. And what makes me laugh is they say all these awful things and then add onto the end "but I still respect Keisha".

TBH she didn't own the name the label did and still do.

I just want this all to end so we can get on with the music side of things, I wanna hear Keisha's flop album then hear Sugababes 1.0's new output and more Sugababes 4.0.

Lemme just say, I am not a 4.0 loon (I figured you were speaking to me). 1.0 is my favorite line-up and will always be the Sugababes to me.

And lastly, I don't want to have anymore arguments over Keisha. I'm actually ruining my own view on the first three line-up when my hate towards her starts growing.

I think she doesn't stand a chance (label most likely owns the name when they signed to it in 2001-2002(?)).

You may have a point Phil but if they sold the rights to the brand name and the image rights to Island then she will be laughed out of court and have to pay huge damages

My understanding is that the girls surrendered the rights to the brand name to Island so none of them have any control over the name bar the record label and management company

Amelle/Heidi/Jade don't own the rights to the Sugababes name or the image rights, I doubt this will even come to court I think its Keisha trying to get some free publicity on the back of WMK/S7 and it will be quietly brushed under the carpet before too long
