May 13, 201015 yr Ahh. Amazing! I dunno but I really want it to be released here, but it'll bomb like no other song ever has done for her here :( It's growing and growing on me.
May 13, 201015 yr They may as well just fire it out in the autumn time as the 5th single after PIIALS comes out in the summer. Yes it will probably flop in the UK...but it will prob help sell a few extra copies of the album, and the video has already been filmed so they dont have anything to lose! :)
May 19, 201015 yr Oh snap! The official remix featuring Drake is out, and his verse is HOT. I knew it'd be out eventually. Anyway, the track is currently #2 on Urban, #3 on Urban AC & risen to #22 on Rhythmic! Still seeing major increases, should go #1 on Urban after "Over" runs it's course. Considering it's still rising on Rhythmic, it could end up being somewhat of a crossover hit. I don't think it'll do much on Pop in all honesty, but it could follow the trend of recent R&B leaning tracks (successful on Urban, Rhythmic with Pop eventually catching on). Who cares, this is the biggest hit for her since "Like You'll Never See Me Again" so I'm not going to complain.
May 20, 201015 yr Thanks :) Will add to first post! :D Also, anyone know a good site where I can find Hot 100 chart runs? Is there a site that does that?
May 20, 201015 yr PLEASE be the next single in the UK. :( 'Put It In A Love Song' is so ... lame compared.
May 20, 201015 yr Unfortunately as much as I think this is her best song ever I don't think it would do anything in the UK :(
May 20, 201015 yr Totally agree. Although it's officially my favourite Alicia Keys song of all time, the UK really wouldn't appreciate this. I'm so glad it's the biggest hit from the "The Element of Freedom".
May 21, 201015 yr Thanks :) Will add to first post! :D Also, anyone know a good site where I can find Hot 100 chart runs? Is there a site that does that? acharts.us If you search and find for a song and a chart you can see all the chart runs. It's a pretty good site. But don't tell anyone :naughty:
May 21, 201015 yr acharts.us If you search and find for a song and a chart you can see all the chart runs. It's a pretty good site. But don't tell anyone :naughty: It doesn't tell you if it was out of the chart for a certain number of weeks, though. ;)
May 22, 201015 yr Well if you click on the draw graph you can see the chart run.. if the song wasn't in a certain week you can see it as well. (For instance try About You Now by the Sugababes for the UK chart run). You do have to count the weeks then so it's not ideal but at least it's something.
May 25, 201015 yr #1 Urban #2 Urban AC #16 Rhythmic Get that multi-format smash! It's a shame Pop won't be catching on, but who knows, stranger things have happened. Who cares, it's a smash hit regardless of support from CHR mainstream.
May 29, 201015 yr Radio play must be really high for her still because back when she was sitting at #44 on the hot 100 the song wasnt even top 100 on itunes, now its finally top 100 but very low, its interesting to think this song could be top 10 on the hot 100 without ever having to break the top 50 on itunes.
