May 29, 201015 yr Radio play must be really high for her still because back when she was sitting at #44 on the hot 100 the song wasnt even top 100 on itunes, now its finally top 100 but very low, its interesting to think this song could be top 10 on the hot 100 without ever having to break the top 50 on itunes. Yeah, it's been blowing up on Urban & Rhythmic.
June 26, 201014 yr Oooft. Niiiice! Is she appearing inside their iTunes Top 100 yet? If not, that's pretty brilliant!
June 26, 201014 yr Considering the song is doing nothing digitally it's pretty incredible that the radios are continuing to support it.
June 27, 201014 yr Considering the song is doing nothing digitally it's pretty incredible that the radios are continuing to support it. It's because it's an example of a song that is tailor made for Urban radio. As soon as I heard this track I knew it'd be a huge R&B hit (similar to that of "Like You'll Never See Me Again"). I'm happy this is her highest peaking single on the Hot 100 this era. Considering she's had no real big commercial hits this era, her album has been really consistent. It's obviously sold minimal in comparison to her previous records, but it shows that she's got a strong fanbase and things could've been a lot worse...
June 28, 201014 yr I still think Try Sleeping should've been the big hit from this album, but I'm happy that she has at least almost a top20 hit!
July 1, 201014 yr Waiting for put it in a love song to be released in UK. Think it could be huge. But then I thought Shakira's Waka Waka would be big so what do I know !!??
July 1, 201014 yr Waiting for put it in a love song to be released in UK. Think it could be huge. But then I thought Shakira's Waka Waka would be big so what do I know !!?? Aapparently she's skipping releasing that and is releasing a new song called L.O.V.E for the UK. Interesting.
July 6, 201014 yr I forgot to mention that this has been 8 weeks at #1 on Hip-Hop & R&B charts. I can't tell you how happy I am to see it's reign this successful. It's an Alicia track that'll never burn, and far and away my favourite track she's released.
July 12, 201014 yr I don't think it is. Arn't they going straight to 'L.O.V.E'? I have no clue, I thought they were releasing 'Un-Thinkable' first! They may just be going straight to 'L.O.V.E' for all I know! -_-
July 16, 201014 yr It's official, "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)" is #1 on the Hip Hop/R&B chart for the 10th consecutive week. It matches her run at #1 on this chart for "No One" which was her most successful R&B single previously. I think this will spend another week at the top making it her most successful R&B single to date, which is so exciting. Her top 5 R&B singles are: "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)" - 10 weeks at #1 "No One" - 10 weeks at #1 "You Don't Know My Name" - 9 weeks at #1 "Like You'll Never See Me Again" - 7 weeks at #1 "If I Ain't Got You" - 6 weeks at #1 It's also back up to #21 on the Hot 100. It's weird that it's still seeing airplay gain... this is a positive, though! Edited July 16, 201014 yr by AAC
