Chris Brown's song is very good in my opinion. Are you "puking" because you think its a bad song or just because your a big Rihanna fan?

There is NO limit on the number of remixes, they all count towards the chart if bought individually.

Although your post was not directed at me, I think it is naive to think that the only reason someone would dislike Chris Brown is because they are a big Rihanna fan. Domestic abuse is always wrong, whoever the victim.

i now think it#s probably best that telephone only lingered at like 30-40 on itunes for so long because unlike other countries it peaked quite high quite early on and is now quite low on their itunes but here the jonathan ross performance and interview combined with the video has really affected the songs position much more in the uk it seems so far than in other countries if that makes any sense. hopefully it'll b e her 4th number 1 too which doesn't look unlikely the way things are going and seeing as though airplay and video play on music channels has hardly kicked in yet.

All that paragraph says is that three digital bundles/EPs are eligible for the chart.

 

 

Read the following paragraphs from your link:

 

3.0 k) i) - One song title and any number of remixes of that featured title to a maximum of 40 minutes applicable to “Maxi” physical or digital formats and 12” vinyl formats.

4.1 f) - In addition to 3 physical formats and 3 digital bundles, an unlimited number of digital variants of the featured song may be combined for a chart position.

The key word being UNLIMITED :lol:

 

So technically, if a bundle/EP had 15 remixes with a total playing time of 40 minutes, it would count as 1 purchase if you buy as a bundle/EP, or 15 purchases if you buy all 15 tracks individually.

 

The 10-track "Telephone" bundle/EP runs well over 40 minutes, so if you buy it as a bundle/EP, it won't count for the singles chart. You have to buy the tracks individually if you want it to count on the singles chart.

There was a boyband who took advantage of the unlimited rule last year (or the year before).

 

They had something like 30 remixes of the same track and managed a Top 40 place.

 

Can't remember their name though.

Because I'm a big Rihanna fan? :huh: Well that's true. But like simply obsessed said Domestic violence is not something you can just forget. It doesn't matter if it was Rihanna because that incident could happen to anyone.

But surely you can distinguish between him and his music? I don't like Chris Brown (although I can't help thinking he's the one who has come out worst from all this) but my opinion on his music hasn't changed.

I remember thinking it would be lucky to get top 10 :P
