I really hope that two versions of Telephone get into the top 10, solely for the reason that they'll have to play it twice on the Big Top 40 show (because their top 10 is simply the top 10 on UK iTunes as of 6pm on Sunday). :D

Do you mean that you think iTunes and the Big Top 40 Show will prevent two versions of Telephone from getting into the top 10, or that people will stop downloading it on the Sunday because they don't want the song to chart twice?

 

I can't see either scenario happening to be honest. I'm just not sure how much iTunes/the public cares about the Big Top 40 Show, even though it's apparently getting double the listeners that the Radio 1 chart show gets.

 

I suppose they could just use common sense, and skip out the lowest charting version of Telephone, and have #11 chart as #10, etc, but after the fiasco a couple of weeks ago, I actually reckon they'll play both versions.

 

But of course, none of this will matter if it doesn't get into the top 10, but I am curious to see what they'd do...
