Just love watching her sing live but that podium was too small she was a little tentative. She looked great though and her vocal range was so good.I do not think she needs a dance routine and lots of dancers to sell this song.
she was gorgeous! well performed. im just on a high that this is a single!
Its not a bad song at all but i can see it doing brilliant, id say low top 10 at best, she performed well but that will be forgotten by the time its released, it will probably make its top 75 debut next week.

Great performance, what a ridiculously small podium though, she could barely move! She did well given the space she was given to perform in. Loving this song even more now, really hope it's huge for her, by far her best song imo.

Which version do you think will be the bigger seller I get the feeling the remix will do better only because it is both radio and club friendly.I hope the song starts getting radio airplay from today.
I loved the performance. It must have been hard for her to move on that small podium! Now up to #48 on iTunes. :D
I do like this song :D but I hope they released 'The Silence' or 'Overcome' next!

I am sure it will hold onto the 40's until she gives another performance or until the video comes out.At least radio airplay has started so time to put the radio requests in.Bless Heart I am sure they are not keen on the song but they are always so supportive of Alex.I suppose we will have to see if Kiss and Radio 1 jump onboard.

Kiss should almost definately jump on board with playlisting this. Especially the Pitbull version.

Radio 1 should too. 'Bad Boys' and 'Broken Heels' were both big hits here, so I can't see any reason for them to snub this...

To be honest I'd be surprised if Radio 1 A-listed it. Even though Broken Heels and the album have done alright there's a perception that she's underperforming or that interest in her is not what it could've been with a better-handled campaign...
I think it could go either way with Radio 1, they playlisted Everybody Hurts and I Got You and removed them soon after. There is no way Alex is underperforming she is selling more singles than everyone except Cheryl in terms of female singers. Her album has outsold Pixie, La Roux and Rhianna who the playlist always includes. Her single and album sales are over 2.5 million and the only thing she lacks is hype.Plus Bad Boys has already started cahrting in Europe.I think All Night Long being in the forties on itunes shows there is still interest in her, Pixie and The Saturdays did not get such a big jump after they appeared on DOI.

TBF though. Pixie and The Saturdays were already like 30 places higher, and were in their 2nd (?) weeks of release so they were basically scraping for people who hadn't already owned the songs etc..

How do you think the campaign could have been handled better? The first two singles have done alright. The only complaint I might have is that she's done a few "Bad Boys" performances around the time of "Broken Heels" and that the video for "All Night Long" isn't out yet. But I'm guessing the reason they changed the single at such short notice is only because this is a fan favourite. A while ago (maybe just after when she was supposed to have shot "The Silence") she was asking her fans on Twitter what they'd like the next single to be. I'm guessing this was a popular option and "The Silence"...wasn't.

I do agree that she's seen as under performing, but only because of the phenomenal success of JLS. It makes it look like they deserved to win over her and that she isn't doing so well. The lead single sold well, the album has done alright and "Bad Boys" has been a minor European hit. She just suffers from being compared to Leona (when their albums share little similarities, of course her ballad heavy debut was going to sell to the masses) and JLS. (where an "omg fit!!1" boyband who made the final were always going to be big, with the right team)

It's a great shame JLS have done better than Alex. :( She's so much more talented and has worked harder than them I think. Oh and obviously her material is far better. Some of the groups on Facebook are pathetic too like 'Omg lolz isnt it funni how JLS have done bettah than Alex lmao!1'.
Good luck to JLS I hope they have the sense to save their money though. The market has no boy bands and they hit the jackpot.Teen girl fans are too fickle and get easily bored to build a long term fan base on.If they manage European and US success it will be a miracle so let them enjoy it while they can.I think Alex is young and is concentrating on what is important being a good vocalist, getting better as a performer and releasing good songs to push up sales of Overcome.I am a keen betting person and I am backing her for long term success, not short term hype.
