Posted March 17, 201015 yr I never miss it. Today's was good. They had an 18 year-old on who is pregnant by a convicted paedophile. She's been told that if she stays with him the baby will be taken away but she doesn't care and has chosen the boyfriend! :( Then a woman was "gobsmacked" that a lad she had sex with whilst drunk in the back of a car isn't the dad of her baby as "I never slept with anyone else. She must be a miracle baby" "The DNA must be wrong" :naughty: Great telly. Edited June 22, 201510 yr by FROOT.
March 17, 201015 yr Frankly, I think Jeremy Kyle probably ends up doing a lot more harm than good to a lot of these people.. I dont think these sorts of things should really be put out there for "entertainment" purposes, and a lot of the time, it's titilation, vicarious and just downright nasty... He may have all these trained experts behind him, but he's still the public face of the show, and it's his rather confrontational and aggressive approach to the show which ends up doing damage that the viewing public may not see after the show.. He says himself that he sees everything in black and white extremes, so the question must be asked, should he be the person to actually bring very sensitive "grey" areas to light..? Personally, I dont think so... It's all very easy to laugh at the "stupid chavs" on the show, the show is basically loaded in order for us to do this let's face it and to look at them as significantly less than human, and it's clear that Kyle sees himself as some kind of superior being to his "guests"... I dunno, seems like "bear baiting" to me sometimes.. And in the US on one of those types of shows there was a very real tragedy occurred when a guy shot his neighbour as a direct result of one of these shows...
March 17, 201015 yr tbh i think its pretty clever.... on one hand it clearly IS bear baiting, mocking thick people whos social graces are akin to a monkey. on the other its an arena for old big head, mr cliche (just how many has he got?) , but it HAS helped some people and its target audience.... bone idle benefits scum, watch it....some just MIGHT learn something from it.
March 17, 201015 yr Author Some of his favourite lines. "You WILL shut up. This the JK show and my name's on the wall" "I have 4 kids" (We know, you've told us a thousand times!) "As most of you know I had a gambling problem" (Love it when a guest reminds him of this :naughty: ) "PUT SOMETHING ON THE END OF IT" (As he's about to read out DNA) "Well well well" "I travelled 200 miles through the night after work to see my daughter" "Graham's a genius" "Let's put some meat on the bone of this story" Edited March 17, 201015 yr by Victor Meldrew
March 17, 201015 yr He's a vile scumbag his guests are just as bad. I hate the man, he's a total moron. While shouting at the scum is amusing it doesn't do much for them. They need 1] a brain, 2] a job, and 3] hardcore counselling. JK just needs shot, preferably in the face by former guest. He'll get his just deserts in due course, you don't escape that much $h!tty Karma.

March 17, 201015 yr He (and his show) is/are diabolical. And the guests ... can't they at least wash their f*cking hair before they go on? Or is that another stipulation that Kyle states for people being on? I can just imagine the form for applicants: Are you a Scumbag? Are you trailer-trash? Are you shagging your mother's husband, sister, daughter, dog, cat, etc, etc? Have you fathered more than 10 kids (preferably by 10 different mothers)? Do you have 10 kids (preferably by 10 different fathers)? If the answer to any of these is 'yes' then you are probably eligible for a guest-spot on the next series of Jeremy Kyle. NB: In the event of a tie ... persons with the greasiest hair will be given preference. Norma Edited March 17, 201015 yr by Norma_Snockers

March 17, 201015 yr You may jest but I may actually be appearing on a future show. I have spoken to a researcher recently. Is it because you haven't got anything else or do? Let's face - the people who go on there don't have anything else to do.
