From her french Chat, she effectively confirms a second album.

From what I distinctively hear in the interview, she said she records new material but she hasn't decided if it's for a second album already. :)

Cheryl Cole has reportedly returned to the music studio to record some tracks for her next album.

The singer, who is recovering from malaria, flew to LA earlier this week and has defied doctors' orders by throwing herself back into work, according to The Sun.

A source said: "Cheryl couldn't sit around any longer. She feels 100 times better and wants to get some normality back. She was going crazy sitting around at home.

"She wants a change of scenery so has decided to go to Los Angeles and get back into the studio. But it's still nowhere near the work schedule she had before she fell ill."

Cole is expected to fly back to the UK in three weeks' time to resume filming of The X Factor.

Yey! Really hope we get it this year!

i think we will, even if it is rushed to cash in.
Ryan Tedder = total mood kill. Generic $h!t guaranteed. 3 Words is so underrated, I'm actually looking forward to this more than GA's comeback now. Prefer Cheryl to GA to be brutally honest :heehee: x

:o I think it's way too overrated! 800K+ for a $h!t album, is overrated  I just hope LP2 is better. But with the list of people she's working with, it will. Besides, it can't be that hard to beat the diorreah that was '3 Words'.... Just my opinion btw :)

I think Katherine was talking about the song '3 Words'. ;)

Ellie Goulding's Cheryl Collaboration

British singer Ellie Goulding has revealed she

plans to write a song with 'Fight For This Love'

hitmaker Cheryl Cole.

Ellie Goulding plans to pen a track with Cheryl Cole.

The 'Starry Eyed' hitmaker - whose debut album

'Lights' shot straight to the top of the UK charts in

March - is amazed that she has such a high-profile fan

base and is looking forward to working with the Girls

Aloud beauty.

She explained: "It's mental. Cheryl Cole said she was

a big fan. I love her so much. We're going to do some

writing together.

"Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue have

all said lovely things. I've just done a song with Tinie

Tempah and even Dappy from N-Dubz came up to me

recently and said, 'We is loving your music'. It's an

amazing position to be in."

However, despite amassing a substantial list of

celebrity fans, the 23-year-old songstress admitted

she has suffered from a "backlash" since she won the

Critics' Choice Brit Award earlier in the year.

She added to Look magazine: "It's been tough too.

There was a backlash after the BRITs, before that I

was just followed by people online, then, all of a

sudden, I was in the mainstream, I was worried, as

people often lose interest in bands when they become

huge, because we don't like something if everyone

else does.

"But now people are starting to come round again, it's

like, 'She's improving, she's done it.' "
