'Parachute' up to #4 :cheer:

Hopefully she'll get a new peak this week again, it has climbed for the last 10 weeks or though

Excellent - Deserves top five at least

702 ? Are you sure someone didn't mean 722  .. Still at least its cracked the top 1000 & they are going over to US in April for a few weeks to do promo/record new material

Yeh I always love seeing British Acts do well in the States even if I don't like them particularly myself

Definitely 702 :D

They'll probably go over the same time as Alex then. She might be over there a bit later though. Not sure.

I remember being ecstatic that Leona was #1 on both the album chart and Hot 100 in 2008  I hope i get the same feeling with Alex (and obv Leona again)

Anyway, i wish JLS the best of luck. EIL is rather :puke: imo but One Shot is growing on me. Their best release to date. I love how the intro flows into the electro part at the beginning :D

Its chart run is impressive, it has climbed for 7 weeks in a row! And maybe an 8th week soon :kink:

Surely it would be at least #5 in tomorrow's mids? #4 ultimately if it keeps gaining. I'm glad i predicted #4 in that prediction thread.

Perhaps even #3 depending how much effect Live Lounge has and how much Bieiber falls, she has another version at #61

^ #75 now.

Boyzone songs shooting up too, higher then hers, their show did them good for sales..

7.5m watched their show and Dancing On Ice

Thats great for Alex I am so pleased to see that her performance got a good response, she did seem a tad nervous on that podium though.I really hope 2010 is a good year for Brits acts in the US single and album wise Taio Cruz is releasing Dirty Picture next and Jay Sean has a song with Mary J coming out I think La Roux is Top 50 on itunes too.Alex on DOI, hope Overcome gets a lift too.

It may get as high as the 50s but then drop as it is still a while till its officially released..

7.5 million is shockingly huge ratings for Boyzone! I was expecting more like 4 million!

I guess Brother will return to #1 then, and I wouldn't be surprised if their Greatest Hits finds its way back to the top 30-ish.

While i love the alexandra song, i'm not getting excited about its itunes position because it will obviously fall again with no video or radio play as yet.

Great for cheryl at no4, i cant actually believe her third single has done this well. As a big cheryl fan, even i thought her whole successful campaign would be over once the xfactor was over.

Yeah, possibly. Depends how early on in the week Live Lounge is and whether it continues to ride the momentum wave.

I think her success post-Christmas has proven a lot of her doubters wrong. Some were predicting her to fall flat on her face without The X Factor, insetad this will be the third single from her double platinum selling album to go at least silver, and will hopefully be the third top 5 hit from the album - although Inna is catching up again!

It's tomorrow, so very early. R1 have been plugging it loads too, Fearne's advert for it seems to be on after every other song. Plus, given Cheryl's reputation as a mimer and her profile, I expect it'll get quite a bit of press coverage too unlike most other sessions such as Delphic from last week

I've just had a quick assess of the chart for this week, its going to be a boring chart, I can't see hardly new entries in the top 40, apart from climbers from outside the top 40 (Robbie, Florence (DDAO), David Guetta might slip inside the top 40 end), maybe 1 or 2 new entries from Plan B and Jonsi, and an odd album track from Justin Beaver, and the random Glee tracks. Train is also a possibility if the track picks up.
