April 13, 201015 yr This HAS to be number one this week. Diana is here to prove that she should have been in the final instead of Eoghan and, to a lesser extent, JLS. And also that people can still have a big career even if they don't win XF - or even get to the finals. Diana's voice might be irritating to some but i love her "different" vocals and the song itself is insanely catchy and captivating - just like the girl herself  Diana might do a Saturdays and be overtaken by Chipmunk. I think Diana has an incredibly strong fanbase (bigger than JLS and Alex i'd say - or at least on XF) and she's got a lot of hype surrounding her. I'd say she has a bigger fanbase than Alex, but I don't think hers is bigger than JLS (I agree that she did during X Factor though). Have now changed my mind & think this will get to number 1 and Chipmunk number 2.. Love Once  & I didn't expect to like anything she would release.. May give her album a try too when its released What does everyone think her sales will be like next week ?

Alex and JLS have an album and three singles each out so their fanbase is most probably stronger. But the core fanbase is a different matter. I'd say Diana has a larger one than Alex and well JLS' is hard to tell since the sales could be highly exaggerated (no disrespect to them but there's no denying that some/most of their core fanbase buy multiple copies/sleeves) and the hype/public-voting awards (BRITs, MOBOs) are all down to the core fanbase (which could arguably be small). Who knows. Anyway, i think her sales will be 83k.
April 13, 201015 yr I've said Top 3... however I can see it being Number 1. Have listened to some of the previews on Itunes of the album and thought it sounded brilliant - I can see her doing really well actually - which would make 3 from Series 5 of the X Factor doing really well
April 13, 201015 yr I'm very confident this can grab the #1 from Chipmunk/Esmee now, though it's not guaranteed.
April 15, 201015 yr good song, i remember her sounding a bit different on XF though i only saw her once, wonder what her other songs will sound like. (i.e. has she done a Paulo Nutini on us and just sings with an affected vocal unlike his previous album). Should do well. i'll stick my neck out and say number 1, though i'm not sure what competition she has although everyone is blethering on about chipmunk. Haven't heard his song. As far as fanbase on XF, blatantly hers was smaller than Alexandra's or JLS' or she would have come higher than them in the competition! Obviously that can change over time though (*ahem* Sugababes)
April 16, 201015 yr I'm shocked people consider chipmunk to be so big, he's not even good! Love Diana and the individuality about her voice, this song is good and i keep singing, 'you're only gonna kill meeeeeee' all the time ha although, she says once too much and it kinda wrecks the song. But, then again if the UK public gave JLS and Alexandra BURKE a number one, then why shouldn't diana get one. Also, speaking of the Burke, why do they insist on dressing her so trashy/cheap? wtf? Puts me off her sooo much... and shes better at ballads yet they keep releasing half arsed crappy dancy RnB songs =/ Edited April 16, 201015 yr by Jack89
April 16, 201015 yr I'm shocked people consider chipmunk to be so big, he's not even good! That last bit is an opinion... But yes, Chipmunk is huge. He already has a #1 single, and that was a collaboration with a complete unknown (Dayo Olatunji). Aside from that, he has two other top 10 hits off the same album (which hit #2 and has been in the top 100 for 20 weeks, which is very good for a rap album) as well as another top 30 hit. His presence on Daisy Dares You's Number One Enemy may well have been the sole reason it got to as high as #13. And his song is a collaboration with a somewhat known artist (Esmée Denters). Add to that the fact that the airplay of UYWG and Once have been fairly similar, and all signs point towards Chipmunk getting to #1... But Diana could still do it I suppose.

April 16, 201015 yr I Think this is the best X Factor song since 2008 at least. Deserved to be number 1.
April 16, 201015 yr Also, speaking of the Burke, why do they insist on dressing her so trashy/cheap? wtf? Puts me off her sooo much... and shes better at ballads yet they keep releasing half arsed crappy dancy RnB songs =/ Because I think they want to avoid the Leona comparisons, and I think they've done very well at it too. All 3 upbeat tracks are solid, and hopefully they will finally release 'The Silence' after this one too.
April 16, 201015 yr I Think this is the best X Factor song since 2008 at least. Deserved to be number 1. I'm sorry but, despite it not being the most commercial song and having minimal suitability for a lead single, Leona's Happy is the best thing ever released from an X Factor contestant. Her vocal performance + emotion + easily relatable lyrics = phenomenal song.

April 16, 201015 yr This song has really taken off now, i absolutely love it. I reckon it's got a very good chance at no1 now.

I think Happy is one of those songs where you can only really 'get' it when you've had a bad experience and aim to find a source of positivity. And Bleeding Love might have been by far her biggest song, but i don't think it's her best. Your opinion i guess.
