I wouldn't recommend portuguese, especially european portuguese. It looks similar to spanish but its actually a lot harder and pronounciation can be a nightmare if you wanna get it right.

I need to start learning German again :wub: If i don't get my internship i think i'd like to go back to Germany instead of going to Spain in the summer. Especially NordRhine-Westphalia [i have a feeling i've spelt Rhine wrong] and Berlin. :wub:

I love German...even though never thought of going to some german language school...but during 1995-2002 was enough for me to learn basics and understand german through watching Viva, RTL 2 and ProSieben :heehee:

After my exams i'm digging out my old German text books. If i'm gonna be fluent in something i may as well finish what i've started :drama:

I was opposite from both of you I got better marks in German than in english.

 

In the end after much redrafting, my final English writing mark ended up higher than the German writing [the one area i'm $h!t at] but when it comes to reading you may as well give me the passage in german and hand me a dictionary :lol:

Well, partly. Actually only in the word "das". There used to be cases where it had to be spelt "daß" but that got changed 10 years ago or so. It's still being used in words like "groß" or "heiß".

I knew i should know it! We have a thermometer for the bath in the shape of a fish [quite sure it's for checking the temp of baby baths] and it has Heiß right down to Kalt on it. I'm sure its a Baby thing as my parents were in Germany for years before i was born so would have had to get everything across there. [i'm a first born child]

 

 

When i get home i'm gonna raid the bathroom to see if we still have that :wub:
