Posted March 31, 201015 yr P!nk announced today that the special guests on her first ever stadium tour The Funhouse Summer Carnival will come from UK’s newest one to watch VV Brown, Washington’s coolest export Hockey and one of the most respected American singer, songwriter and producers Butch Walker. Combined together, The Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour is a blend of the most exciting and eclectic artists in music today. Like P!nk, VV Brown is truly an individual. The band won over New York City crowds during a run of Manhattan and Brooklyn gigs, earning them a spot in NME’s ‘ones to watch’. The band’s success hasn’t just been felt on the home front, after touring the UK they were described as a perfect combination of "arty cool dance and shameless pop." Stepping out of the hottest producer shoes in the States, Butch Walker will be the perfect opener for this Carnival spectacular. Butch took to the producer helm for P!nk’s Funhouse album which has sold over 4 million copies to date. He has produced records for some of the greatest artists and bands in music today and not only that but has released seven albums of his own, proving that he really is a unique talent and one that is about to take the UK by storm. With the addition of these artists, The Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour gets ready to take on the UK and Europe with the first show kicking off in Germany on 29 May and it will, without doubt, leave hundreds of thousands of fans across the UK stunned with P!nk’s special brand of high octane and dazzling performance.
