According to WiKi

In mid-March, Digital Spy and the media reported that the Sugababes had been dropped by Roc Nation. However, on 26 March 2010, the Sugababes released a statament on their website in which they revealed that they had never actually been signed to Roc Nation in order to release music in the U.S. The contract had in fact been signed so that they could utilise the label's services to produce the album, giving the group access to high profile music producers. The group also revealed that they planned to release 'new music' very soon, sparking rumours that preparations for the eighth Sugababes album was already under way.

Is it really necessary to start a new thread about a new album on something that has been said on WIKIPEDIA. Besides, it won't be released for a while if it's true.

They are lying re: Roc Nation.

And they can start recording, but releasing it in the near future would be a stupid decision.

I hope we don't get a whole new album until October/November 2011 but a re-release of Sweet 7 could come at the end of this year.

Completly agree, this is what they should do, but just like the past two albums - it will be released soon, not giving enough time for a buzz to form for album #8

Wikipedia is not a valid source of information peoples.

I'm gonna lock this, When we get more information from more credible sources, then we'll look into opening a Album #8 thread.

I have an idea actually....:magic:
