It made a huge impact. 'Bad Romance' and 'Telephone' both have probably have had two of the biggest impacts on the landscape of music in the USA in the past year... or since 'Pokerface'. Neither of them hit #1.

I mean the video release for Telephone got the song to #1 in the UK.. in the US it rose but stuck mid-Top 10, I thought it would top charts in a similar fashion stateside (though it has been around for a while).

Correct. It was frustrating. It was kept from #1 by Empire State of Mind which was by then, IIRC, outside the iTunes top 5 having peaked weeks earlier.

 

But to be fair, Poker Face only made #1 on the Hot 100 because iTunes deleted Right Round for a day. So she got lucky once, unlucky once :)

Your Love Is My Drug up to #10 :o, Bulletproof up to #27 and Alejandro up to #30. Keep climbing especially Alejandro. I'm totally in love with the song now. :wub:

'Hello, I Love You' deserves to be the highest charting of them all though :( Well it's my personal favourite from the five, although they're all VERY good. 'Hello Goodbye' will grow on me as soon as I've seen the performance of it in the episode!
