April 2, 201015 yr Ooh I actually DO like JLS despite being particularly scathing and critical of them during The X Factor. I've loved all of their songs, more of the same please gents, more of the same.
April 2, 201015 yr I'm expecting a huge step up from the last era in every way. Although I liked the music it did sound cheap (production wise fore me) and it was a bit generic, I hope we get some live performances without cheesy dance routines. Hopefully the videos will be better, hopefully no showing of their bodies etc. I'm thinking they might have a big collab for the second single off this album to help launch this album. Although I still expect the music to be generic I hope it's a bit less obvious. They could do even better with this era in terms of sales if all is handled well :)
April 2, 201015 yr I never expected JLS to be as huge as they are, i never expected they would have a million selling debut album, and seeing that they did that i am sure they will be given strong material for the 2nd album and will once again be aoming for a 2nd million selling album.

Rumoured to be working with JR Rotem again aswell.. so possibly a collab with Jason Derulo ? Like Marvin said in that article.. More people will be willing to work with them after seeing their sales so as much as I loved their debut album.. I'm expecting a big improvement
April 2, 201015 yr I read a few weeks ago the label wants them to do this for the next few years (release late summer single, album in winter around X Factor/Xmas) and then Tour. They have ambitions for them to rack up an impressive chart history like previous boy bands (westlife 1 of a few).
April 2, 201015 yr I can see why they wanna do that as boy bands usual start to deteriorate in terms of sales due to their fanbase growing up, therefore it would be better for them and the label to make as much money as quick as possible. As long as they don't start squishing in 4th singles from the albums I think it'll be fine.
April 3, 201015 yr I'm not ruling out a Rihanna duet either :P JLs get far too much hate. Their album, as generic as it was, was actually a very decent debut after a few listens. Somewhat looking forward to this.
April 3, 201015 yr well they have done alot better than Alexandra Burke, who was supposed to be the winner from x factor last year
April 3, 201015 yr well they have done alot better than Alexandra Burke, who was supposed to be the winner from x factor last year She was the winner, not supposed to be the winner.
April 3, 201015 yr Some producers already revealed: Labrinth - (Recently produced/co-wrote Pass Out by Tinie Tempah), Stargate & Toby Gad I really like JLS, but that bit isn't a good sign  I know "Pass Out" did really well, but I hate it with a passion
April 3, 201015 yr ooo just in time for X-Factor. Well they might as well use it if it's there for them.
April 3, 201015 yr well they have done alot better than Alexandra Burke, who was supposed to be the winner from x factor last year JLS have merly sold more albums than Alexandra and will continue to remain a British success.Alexandra has outsold them singles wise and has had chart success in Europe so keep dreaming.Try and move on Alexandra won well over a year ago because she was the best singer let it go.

I actually don't think Slowdown73 was trying to compare them in that sense.. Maybe just trying to say that JLS outsold Alexandra in albums (as this is an album thread).. so could continue to surprise people.. Anyway just because someone makes a statement like that doesn't mean they are still annoyed she won :S They are much better off not being on Simons record label.. Epic is a lot better for them.. & They are yet to release in Europe so we don't know if they would have chart success there or not i agree jls might be doing good but so is alex so there is no need to compare alexandra is a much better singer anyway  I hate it when people say we shouldn't compare them.. yet do it anyway Edited April 5, 201015 yr by SweetDreams
