I'm really emotional Lucas killed Denise. She's my favourite character on the show. :cry: This Lucas Saga needs to stop.

Absolutely GUTTED Denis has been axed. :cry: She was definitely in my top five characters. (U) Hopefully Lucas will be discovered and then jailed (and in turn axed, as he's $h!t! :D).

Well, what an episode.

 

- The Mitchell/Beale scenes were a joy. Adam Woodyatt and Steve McFadden have a bizarre kind of anti-chemistry. They shouldn't work well together, but they do.

 

- Darren and Jodie are quite tedious.

 

- Glenda even more so.

 

- Liz running amok in the Square like a banshee was joyous.

 

- Don Gilet and Diane Parrish were once again wonderful. Perfectly chilling; Lucas really believes he is Jesus?! I really hope that that was not the end of Denise though, but I am a little worried given what we saw and that we also know that

the rest of the Fox clan are due to be off soon.

NOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo. I don't really watch Eastenders that much, but Denise was one of my favourite characters! I was expecting her to next week kind of 'come back' like Dirty Den did or something. Why axe her though but keep Lucas. :|

The Denise / Lucas thing was OK I suppose ... but for me the bits I was looking forward to were the Ian / Phil bits ... and it was worth waiting for. I love Adam Woodyatt and it was nice that he got some decent 'ordinary' script to work with. I know he isn't the greatest actor in the world but I really like the way he plays the character of Ian Beale. The same with Anne Kirkbride in Corrie ... not the worlds best actress - but Deirdre is just fab!

 

Hated the Ronny / Roxy / Peggy 'in' joke that just was NOT funny ... especially when it dragged one of my fave female characters (Shirley) into it.

Denise better not be dead! If she is, I'll be soooo pissed off! After the Lucas thing, there is so much potential for her character! Especially when she is annoying Zainab!

That was great! Shirley's lips line was absolutely classic. I do agree about the Phil/Ian stuff though - like Shoat said they have a bizarre chemistry. And I also think the Lucas/Denise bits were mediocre, even though Diane Parish was as great as ever. I want the storyline to conclude now.

I agree with all of that, the lips line was immense!

 

I just read that the body they pull from the canal is identified by lucas as being Denise, but he did kill the prostitute the other week which looked like Denise, so it could be her? Hopefully she has just got out of the canal and ran off scared!

I was watching 'This Morning' the other day and the soap woman was on, and she shown a picture of (what looks like Denise) being pulled out of the canal.

I hope she isn't dead. :(

That arm didn't look like it belonged to Denise. The skin was also very clean and smooth for one that had been in the canal water for some time. Almost as unrealistic as when Trevor Jordache's body was dug up from underneath the patio in Brookside.
