You are a godsend. thanks! :yahoo: :w00t: lol

but I bet the person in charge used the info from the OCC site first. :P That defeats the purpose.

What is that $h!t. I mean the old format was perfect. Where's top 100? They have really f***ed up on this reinvention.

BIG POST WARNING ;p

Or at least I have for the past few months - I may not be able to any more ¬_¬

Yes, the guy who owns chartstats gets his information from the OCC, look at the front page - there's a 'news item' about it. He' pretty pissed off that the OCC have done a chart archive because it's basically the same thing as chartstats does but in less detail.

I only ever bothered with it to see what was outside the top 40 so no need to bother looking at it again. The Radio 1 Chart will do fine - at least that has the music dvd's on it too.

I've just realised - The OCC Site no longer goes

back as far as November 1952, with its No.1

Singles. Or back as far as July 1956 with its No.1

Albums.

It only goes back as far as the first 'Record Retailer' Charts - March 1960.

No.1 Albums

No.1 Singles

The OCC tell me that they are still working on the New Site. That's why Sales figures

are changing, & why errors are being corrected.

They hope to be able to show the Top 100's again. They seem to want to do so.

Also, they hope to show Data from the 1950's Singles & Albums Charts again.

They are responding to the 'Feed Back' that they are getting. They aren't going

to ignore us. So, our views - about their Site - do matter to them.

Tbh, the rest of the site can go f*** itself, I just want them to continue posting the full top 100.#

I'm relieved to hear they plan to continue :) I just hope it's this week.

The Top 100's are back.

I think the changes are a big improvement.

I think the changes are a big improvement.

I'd imagine that everyone now loves the new OCC site!

I do love the new OCC website, but only on the grounds I loved the old one - the new design, while it looks very nice and all, adds very little to it and I wish they'd have stuck with the old one.

Absolutely relieved to see the top 100s restored

I sent them a response at the beginning of the week saying that they should bring the top 100 back, and they've replied back saying they've decided to bring it back. That just proves if you don't ask, you don't get.

Thank god for that. Looks like many of us emailed them  but I never got a reply from them
