Hopefully Christina gets into the top 100 later. It definitely won't chart well this week, I think they've done a mistake releasing it this early with no airplay at all.

Pro Green has now built up a decent lead on Selena - it was always gonna happen really. Top 10, chance of top 5 is much better than expected for Selena. I hope Pro Green keeps gaining and gets a #1, and Kelis and Selena can both go top 5, but the all-new top 3 clearly isn't happening now :( I think it's actually a possibility SFG could hold the #1 for a third week...

 

SFG holding it for a second week brought up something interesting - the first time since March-May 2009 (Poker Face/I'm Not Alone/Number 1) that we had 3 more-than-one-weekers in a row. Will the streak continue? The last 4 was Run/Hallelujah/Just Dance/The Fear, and the last 5 was When You Believe/Now You're Gone/Mercy/American Boy/4 Minutes.

Selena Gomez is catching up on Timbaland ft Justin Timberlake - Carry Out. Could move up to #5 soon
Having seen last week's sales, it's a bit worrying the current new entries are still so low - sales for them are going to be dreadful :(
Finally a Top 10 clear out lets hope Selena and Kelis keep climbing.Selena is sure to have strong physical sales as well.Alex B needs to get her video out this week.It would be good to see Christina in the Top 100 today at least.

GaGa's Bad Romance was released with no airplay or promo and made #14 in it sifrst week. She wasn't even an established artist.

Bad Romance had some airplay though, it was released to the radio stations that week and was played a couple of times on the release week, I definately remember Radio 1 and Capital radio playing it.Where-as Christina has Had not a single play as far as I can tell.

There's a major difference between the two.

 

Christina hasn't released an album since 2006 - 4 years! The Greatest Hits was very low-key.

 

GaGa was hyped up beyond belief last year - she could have charted high with anything.
