If its true then the Echo era is well and truly over in the UK.

 

I'd rather them release nothing than Love Letter:-

 

- it will do nothing for the single itself (can't see it going top 20, probably peak at like #29 or something);

- nothing for the album (album probably won't even re-enter top 75 due to the single);

- further distort Leona's excellent list of peaks in the UK.

 

It has to be (i) OMH, (ii) CB or (iii) bugger all and come back with a fresh, SOTC-esque sound.

Oh Yuck! Usher number 1? I really hope Professor Green overtakes it- if it is number 1 on sunday, at least it will only be for a week :puke2:

I think it would have been a perfect time to release Dont Let Me Down with JT for Leona.Collabs seem to be the in thing now and it would raise her profile, the song is good also.

I don't know whether it's normally you or instead others but there's always people who repeatedly say "Buy this!" "Get it to #1!" "We need to get it to #1 - download it now!" :P And it's even more annoying when it's a crap song like OMG - even if Prof Green is crapper :lol:

It was at #63 in the US at 12:30PM but has climbed more than 40 places in the last 3 hours, bad decision to remove it, it was quickly moving up the chart here.

I wouldn't say 'quickly' moving up - it was moving up at a fairly standard rate.

 

The removal was a good idea, as it clearly wasn't gonna début very high - it needs much more radio play / promotion and the video to help it chart high.

I guess so, but maybe if they kept it for a while, the Top 40 was possible in it's second week; I just thought it was doing relatively good before removal. Promotion should boost it, depending on how much.

I think Christina would have done well, she is still on the Irish itunes and up to 35.I take back what I said no one download Usher save your money for Love Letter.

Nooo, as a massive leona lewis, as much as i do love love letter, OMH should be released! it will done fine in the summer and probably get top 10! its a hit waiting to happen, and like somebody else said, if they dont realease that release cant breathe! (:

Glad Usher is #1, we need higher sales and he was always likely to overtake SFG this week. Reallly hoping Professor Green has just about stalled as well, even if he does get to #1 he could be in for a nasty fall next week if "OMG" stays strong and Kelis overtakes, not to mention tthe two massive new entries. Chipmunk has scored a #1 with an artist barely anyone has heard of so the Esmée Denters collaboration should be a shoe-in but I can see Diana trouncing it.
