Does anybody know? The album doesnt appear to have done as well in comparison to her last album in the same length of time. I heard she was wearing with David Guetta on some new material.

I don't think she will re-release Rated R. I think she wants to finish the era right after her tour and get back to the Rihanna we know in love (hence why she's working with David Guetta, Stargate, Will.i.am, Tricky Stewart and also Calvin Harris wants to work with her too). I expect a new album from her next year in the summer. She said that her next album is gonna less intense than Rated R and will be very uptempo and if she mix with influences from Rated R it will be amazing. Also Tricky Stewart said, to expect a different side to her and it's gonna be the complete opposite of Rated R.
well by the sound of it she seems to want to release quite a few singles from Rated R so I think a re-release won't be out of the question.
This album hasn't done too badly, its sold what like 2.5 million worldwide so far? Which are respectable sales in the current music climate. Since it was such a different Rihanna sound, she's obviously alienated a few fans, but with the huge success of Rude Boy I'm sure she's one a fair few back, her next album looks very promising right now. Can't believe she'll be on her 5th album and she's like 22?!
Rated R is already platinum here in the UK and hasn't left the top 40 since it was released. Her singles are doing well, too. I don't see any reason for a re-release. Just because her album isn't triple platinum and her singles haven't went #1 doesn't mean she needs to release the album again, or release another one so soon. Albums take time before they do well.
I think they will at least release a deluxe edition as there hasn't been one and usually they release one.
