Very true and the Killers are also a far bigger albums act than singles acts. All their albums have sold very well for them and have longevity which is brilliant.

ya thats a surprise and for me its such a shame that inde rock n roll isnt on this list as it soooooooo should have being a single in my opinion.
'Indie Rock 'n' Roll' is EPIC :o I can't understand how anyone could not like it :(
yeah, because i know an ex-nun with a short temper :kink:
'Mr Brightside' obviously :P

The most amazing, exhilirating, anthemic piece of music I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Gah. I love it so, so much. It's EPIC. My all-time favourite song.

God, the way you say it, would make vote for it without even listening, But my vote goes for Mr Brightside because I know that already, as much as I love the other singles too

Mr. Brightside is a good tune but it's not their best, there are quite a few that are better than it.
The Killers don't need successful follow up lead singles though. Although it'd be nice for them to get them, as long as the lead single and then the follow-up sells the album & concerts then I don't think they particularly care too much. 'Day & Age' although only spawning one mega hit single ('Human') was still a HUGE success. Didn't it get their highest first week sales out of all their albums? Plus, considering the fact it sold so much, it held up very well and had longevity.

"Sam's Town" sold over 250k in its first week but then less than 80k in its second. "Day & Age", being released six weeks closer to Christmas, only opened with 200k as overall album sales were well down in 2008 but then managed over 110k for the next two weeks after that.

Sales for that period in 2008 were down anyhow so they still performed very strongly and i think what sgreat is all their 3 main studio album have all sold well over 1 million copies each in the UK which is great as not alot of acts manage that nowadays.

ya they have had very strong album sales and hot fuss in particualr has sold i think almost 2 million in the uk, i think same town is about 1.3 million and day and age is just over 1.1 million, again these are rough estimates which i hope are fairly accurate.

It's between Smile Like You Mean It (very underrated) and When You Were Young for me.

i'll go for Smile Like You Mean It
