Posted April 19, 201015 yr Surprised nobody's mentioned this yet. First song to feature all four of them since Battery In Your Leg in 2003. Classic Blur, far from the more experimental sounds of Think Tank. Reminds me of 'Cutting Crew - I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight' though musically  I assume it's a one off? I haven't heard any news of any further work together. V8ixnqRyfzU 1000 7" copies were released on Saturday and are selling on eBay for up to £200 now! The track can be legally downloaded here; http://www.blur.co.uk/
April 19, 201015 yr it is definatly a one off. im not keen on it personally. seeing a lot of mixed views.
April 19, 201015 yr Author Yeah, it's ok but nothing groundbreaking - seems like a bit of a half hearted attempt. Still, for free I can't complain - although I would be if I was paying £200 for it
April 19, 201015 yr I quite liked it - reminded me a lot of Parklife's second side crossed with a hint of 'Coffee & TV'. It's annoying me that people went out and bought this yesterday with no view other than to profit. For a day invented to help keep record shops (note: shops not 'stores') open, they should donate their massive profits back to the shop they bought it in. Chancers.
April 21, 201015 yr I quite liked it - reminded me a lot of Parklife's second side crossed with a hint of 'Coffee & TV'. It is a bit reminescent of the latter Parklife era, I agree. Not brilliant, but not bad.
