Either we're all listening to a different song or you're blinded by loondom, because it's distinctly average.

well the fans and press dont seem to think so but each to their own I suppose

I think it's going to be one of those growers. Pretty incredible on first listen though. I love the instrumental part over her vocals.

As good as it is, it doesn't sound like a #1 single...

Kylie Minogue’s new single ‘All The Lovers’ has been brought forward two weeks due to overwhelming public demand. The track, originally due for release in all formats on 28 June 2010, will now be available digitally from 13 June. A physical release / digital bundle will follow on 28 June 2010.

Popjustice recently called the song “a truly incredible comeback single…a solid gold summer pop anthem”. News of the World called it “one of the best Kylie songs ever”. The track is co-produced and written by Jim Eliot & Mima Stilwell.

Kylie’s highly anticipated new album ‘Aphrodite’ is released on Parlophone records on 05 July 2010. It is Kylie’s eleventh studio album and was executive produced by Stuart Price.

‘Aphrodite’ sees Kylie return to the dancefloor, with a string of high profile collaborators from the pop and dance worlds including: Calvin Harris & Jake Shears, Sebastian Ingrosso (Swedish House Mafia) & Luciana Caporaso, Nerina Pallot, Richard X, Cutfather, Nervo and Tim Rice-Oxley.

I'm not sure if it's quite as "amazing" as I was expecting, but it's pretty close and she's definitely back. Very euphoric and uplifting, it has the Kylie stamp but also sounding very classy.

They should just release the download with the physical release though, releasing a single that's not already on an album before the physical these days is never a good idea.

I don't think it's the amazing spectacular that it was made out to be but I do really like it and I reckon it'll grow on me with every listen :)

Although why did Chris Moyles (and Kylie herself a bit) have to talk through most of it? It was so bloody annoying and completely ruined the first listen

Sorry I was looking forward to this but its Awful .

Its got weak lyric and weak vocal and not very catchy .

And she sounds old in the vocal if that makes any sense ?

"Sounds old" prob the stupidest thing ive ever heard

I really like the song. Think its brilliant and far better than anything released from X. I've high hopes for this song.
 It's ok.. the chorus is really nice. Not a big first single though.

Awful? clearly you are not hearing the same song.

In your opinion, by what you say in other forums, if it is not Anastacia singing "soul" then it is weak, manufactured, souless r&b that

is in the charts today, you never seem to acknowledge that Anastacia had made mistakes and that there is good music in the charts.

and don't even get me started on your last statement, which doesn't make sense at all.

Sorry if i sound harsh

Anyway, roll on the video. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/05/10/article-1275665-097DBC2A000005DC-381_306x502.jpg

Well this seems to be getting very good feedback everywhere.

I personally think it's brilliant, a #1 for sure :)

hmm to be honest, i'm a little bit disappointed. It's not as great as I was expecting :( At the minute I just kinda like it.. hopefully it will grow.

Umm... what? Physical releases are as good as irrelevant. The #1 physical single last week sold less than 1500 copies. Even for a fanbase act like Kylie it's not going to make much difference when the physical's out.

It sounds even better at full volume  i have to drown out my junkie neighbours
Loving it, keeps growing on me each time i hear it. I think it is probably a good move they have brought the release forward, not as convinced for a #1 as i was, think it will come down to her promo and airplay. Its now up against Example but I'd be more concerned about being up against the previous weeks #1 (who that may be - maybe Tinie Tempah?).

I only really said this because Kylie is one of the biggest physical selling acts out there, so it could make all the difference in this case. Of course if the song happens to be popular enough with casual buyers outside of her typical fanbase it won't harm too much, but we'll see.
