Absolute cast iron certainty for #1! :cheer: :yahoo:

[OK, I might be sightly biased about that :P ]

Kylie Minogue’s new single ‘All The Lovers’ has been brought forward two weeks due to overwhelming public demand. The track, originally due for release in all formats on 28 June 2010, will now be available digitally from 13 June. A physical release / digital bundle will follow on 28 June 2010.

Nooo!!! It's a terrible idea bringing it forward - there's far more competition that week!

one listen... and i love it!

i feel happy.

i always wish with X she had released The One as the first single!

My favourite Kylie lead single since the horribly underrated Some Kind Of Bliss  I was never that into Spinning Around or Can't Get You Out Of My Head although I appreciate that they're pop classics. And I don't think Slow or 2 Hearts were amazing leads either, even though the former was certainly effective and different.
Slightly underwhelming but it's a bit better on second listen. It's a really nice song, dont get me wrong but it's not lead single material.
can someone pm me a link if poss please?

I know, I meant an mp3 :D

I don't understand why some kylie fans don't like it. People had good reason to complain with X. 2 hearts wasnt a good lead single and the album wasnt very cohesive...but "all the lovers" is a strong comeback single
I'm loving the track even more after a few more listens its got to be her best comeback single yet, 2 Hearts was pretty naff. Bless her cotton socks. :D

Like any other song not everyone's going to like it, whether they're fans or not.

I distinctly recall it reaching #1 in your personal chart :heehee:

It didn't do well at all in mine at the time, #5 peak and fell out after about 4 weeks. However, looking back I do like it a lot more now than I used to, I just don't think it was great lead single material - would have made a 'great album track' though.

Yeah, I agree it would have made a good album track and 'Like A Drug' instead a single somewhere along the line in the era, they'd have had the 4 perfect singles then.

As for #1 for this, nothing's guaranteed. If '2 Hearts' can make #4 I'm confident of at least top 3 for this.

After three plays:

It's good (musically it reminds me a lot of Erasure), but certainly is not brilliant. It does not come close to blowing me away in the way that Confide In Me or Can't Get You Out Of My Head did.

I'd probably put on the second tier of Kylie songs with I Believe In You and Spinning Around.

Whilst the forthcoming album track Better Than Today is a lot catchier IMHO, and I think would have been a bigger hit if it was the lead single.

Well its out on downloads the 13th June, we'll see how it does. I'm glad it's not going against the new Katy Perry single, she would trounce Kylie
