Nothing is gonna happen to them.

I've said it before, they can record and write material all they want, but who's going to release it? Unless they're willing to go down the truly independent route it won't happen.

I don't understand this indefinite hiatus. They should either come back or call it a day. It'll be much harder when MKS release their stuff too.

I personally think they should end this with a second Greatest Hits to sum up their career, like Girls Aloud have.

Really ready now for a new single to be honest. 'Freedom' finally clicked with me months after (non)release and it still sounds good. Really wonder if they had other amazing singles lined up.

(sorry for bumping this and making it seem like something's actually going on )

There were rumours about a song called 'Hard' or something being the follow up. After it became apparent that radio and TV weren't going to touch Freederm with a barge pole, and they had to give it away for free, nothing else was heard about it.

They themselves did a feature on The Daily Star about "Hard" just a few days after cancelling Freederm:

WE’RE SOFT ON HARD…

27th September 2011

By Kim Dawson with James Cabooter - Edited by The Sugababes

IF we get our way, the second single from the new album will be Hard.

You might think it’s a singalong but when you start listening to the lyrics you think: “Hang on a minute, it’s a cool concept.”

It’s called Hard because its about a girl who’s been hurt in a relationship, then got into a new one and will only give so much.

It’s saying: “If you’re not able to give me 100% I’ll go back to being hard, being the ice queen, keeping you at arm’s length.”

Most girls have had that.

WE love Katy B. She kind of sounds like early Sugababes and there’s a good style about her.

Loick Essien, who’s on Sony with us, is also wicked.

They probably recorded a full album of material, but since no one wants to hear it it'll remain shelved, just as a I predicted all those pages ago.

That article makes me laugh: 'She sounds like early Sugababes'. As IF any of them would know!

This post made me laugh :P

uhhhhhh, I really need to hear new material from them. I am gagging for it. I love Freedom!!!

Don't get your hopes up.

But Jade's confirmed it and Heidi has confirmed it previously.

I really wanna hear some new 4.0 material :D

Because Freederm was such a masterpiece!

Sans Keisha to tell them who to work with and to do the bloody writing this brand is just going to pedal subpar shit that will see them 'Rival' the Saturdays and other two bit girlbands. The Sugababes used to be peerless.

I like Freedom :D

And The Saturdays have just had their first number one so things are looking up for them :D

Ok, I admit their sound has changed but I'm sure MKS will capture the older style so everyone's a winner :)

I really like 'Get Sexy' and various other tracks from Sweet 7

I am eagerly awaiting this era of Sugababes :D

Stuff like Stronger, Shape, Ugly I really like cos it has meaning and it relates to life but I also have time for songs like 'She's a Mess' 'About a Girl' 'Wear My Kiss' cos they are fun songs

EDIT: And Heidi is the longest running Sugababe, yeah, she wasn't there right at the start but she has stood longer than any other

You're forgetting that it's 2013 so at the end of this year Heidi will leave/be kicked out and replaced. It's the 4 year cycle.

No Heidi = No Sugababes :)

But wait...after Sugababes she can have solo album in 2014.

That's sweet how devoted you are to the bland bitch but the Sugababes stopped being the Sugababes in 2009 when the last original was forcibly removed. Heidi going won't make a damned bit of difference, she's the easiest member to replace!
I doubt Heidi will ever properly release solo material, bar Change Your Wicked Ways that's coming out on Mike Stock's label.

Give it a rest already we get it, you don't support the current line up of Sugababes.

Personally I'm looking forward to hearing what they come up with...I'm not sure it will make a dent i the charts however if it ever materializes but still.

I really hope we get to hear somethings from them. I really enjoyed Freedom and Crash n Burn was a brilliant track also. I think they could come up with something that will at least get a minor hit.

I feel as if this is slightly harsh, Little Mix are a brilliant girl group with very harmonious and easy voices while the current version of the Sugababes are nowhere near the standard that Little Mix are at in my opinion.

I really hope that MKS smash with their new material to show the Sugababes who the best version really is. I can't wait to see their new material flopping.
