i hope this album will be out by september

I think that would be too quick. I would like them to take a lot of time recording material for this album, with unknown producers.

Yeh can't wait for the new stuff also Keisha's new stuff. Also when I was in NY for the last 2 weeks the advert was on quite alot which was cool hearing the babes.

I think it was a very wise decision to not go for a re-release. I was afraid they were gon do that.

They will need to have a stomper of a first single and then they will be back on track. People dont care about the members. As long as the song is good and gets good promotion then it will sell well

JC penny has been using the song for like over a year now... Don't see the point of rerecording it.

I think that Girls is used in a women's razor commercial over here in the US too. Since no one in the US really knows about the Babes drama, I think they would have a better shot at a hit album over here-especially since Destinys Child broke up. There is a need for a big girl group here. I dont know why they dont try here in the US. It seems that every group releases an album here-Sugababes should too. That is my wish for years.

Meh, it's going to flop anyway.

The only way I can see them make it in the US is if they replace Heidi with someone pretty and young.

I can't believe they are already recording a new album after the disaster performance of sweet 7. Over the last couple of years, they seem to keep rolling out album after album and each one has become less and less successful. I think they need to take an extended break and have some time out of the spotlight before coming back with a big bang with someone pretty spectacular.

After the last two disasters they need to maintain a presence or people will just forget about them

A break will benefit them.

 

Clearly people aren't interested in them at this point.

 

Take a few months off doing nothing, and then go into the studio writing & recording the album ready for a 2011 release in the summer. That's the best thing to do, IMO.

The difference is Dizzee's credibility had never been smashed to pieces. I don't actually think there's anything they can do now, it's over.

I'm all for a new album to see if they can make it but re-recording Girls is just frustrating, thats the whole problem with Sweet 7, not just the line-up change, people heard the album sampler with Keisha so less people cared about the Jade re-recordings, I kind of want it to backfire on them

Re-recording of Girls isn't for us Brits it's for an advertising campaign in the USA, although atm they use the Keisha version but it's only a small campaign.

So what the hell is happening in sugababe land??????

Not neccesarily Amelle said they worote songs for the last album but they just didn't make the album. Plus it's been like a year since they were last in the studio so they probably done some writing since, plus Jade may have written some songs. But they probably won't write the first single
