131 96 X X Snow Patrol ft Martha Wainwright - Set The Fire To The Third Bar 4.921

130 139 X X 163 Roger Sanchez - Another Chance 4.926

129 176 124 76 103 Wheatus - Teenage Dirtbag 4.926

This batch of three sees a surprise (to me) drop for the Snow Patrol track featuring the Canadian sister of Rufus that seems to be far more popular now then it was when it was first released; the dance track sampling early 1980s AOR outfit Toto climbs marginally & two hit wonders Wheatus climb with the song that most people can remember.

127 74 161 X 68 Atomic Kitten - Whole Again 4.963

126 106 X 179 X Delerium ft Sarah McLachlan - Silence 4.963

The break out hit for Will.i.am, Fergie & co climbs 19 places; whilst Atomic Kitten's maiden UK#1 hit falls 53 places; and the excellent dance/trance record from 2000 falls 20 spots.

124 93 88 X X Timbaland ft. Keri Hilson – The Way I Are 5.000

123 X X X X Black Eyed Peas – Boom Boom Pow 5.028

European dance outfit Cascada reach the Top 200 for the first time; the grammatically incorrect Timbaland chart topping single falls 41 places; and hello again to the BEPs with the lead single from their latest album.

134 X X X X Beyonce – Halo 4.889

Beyonce makes one of her four solo (& additional four more Destiny's Child appearances) in this countdown with this track with "one of the best videos of all time"

That's Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) not Halo :kink:

And this is way too low. One of my favourite Beyoncé songs

122 91 X X X Aaliyah - More Than A Woman 5.029

121 X 79 X 119 Emma Bunton - What Took You So Long? 5.037

120 150 X 108 121 Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved 5.091

The late great Aaliyah falls 31 places with my favourite ever Timbaland production; the Dancing On Ice judge wins the honour of being the highest placed Spice Girl; and Adam Levine and co climb 30 places with a track that reminds me of the late 1970s/early 1980s outfit The Police.

Nope, that was a deliberate bit of editoral by myself as I really liked the video to Halo; but I always thought the video to Halo was awfully overrated.

Oh right :kink: My bad.

119 83 X X X Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire 5.091

118 105 12 39 117 Kelly Clarkson - Because Of You 5.094

117 69 104 178 X Britney Spears - I'm A Slave 4 U 5.111

Three fallers this time; that overplayed Kings Of Leon track that I cannot stand falls 36 places; the excellent power ballad by the first American Idol winner falls 13 places but spends its 5th year on the countdown; and another track that I was never keen on compared to many of her other records falls 38 places.

116 37 32 34 96 Mariah Carey - We Belong Together 5.125

115 X X X 182 Oasis – Stop Crying Your Heart Out 5.147

114 X X X X Mary J. Blige - Family Affair 5.148

Mariah Carey has her worst ever result (and her first outside the Top 100) with the best single she has managed in a decade IMHO; Oasis make their sole appearance on the countdown (probably due to Leona Lewis covering it on her latest album); and a very welcome first appearance for what I think is one of the greatest Urban records ever made.

113 181 156 X X Daniel Powter - Bad Day 5.156

112 173 X X X Saturdays - Up 5.182

111 86 36 31 X Sugababes - Too Lost In You 5.212

The Canadian singer/songwriter's most famous song continues to do well on the countdown climbing 68 places; whilst the UK girl group who must surely be hoping to capitalize on the current situations with the Sugababes & Girls Aloud climb 61 places with my least favourite single of their's; and speaking of the Sugababes Mutya; Keisha & Heidi appear, but not for the last time.

Some wonderful songs. Im partically happy to see Mary J Blige's Family Affair and Kelly Osbourne's One Word appear. Fantastic to see Shiver return aswell.

Too Lost In You, Halo, Up, More Than A Woman, Bad Day, Where Is The Love and She Will Be Loved - all fantastic records.

109 X X X 76 Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You 5.222

108 X X X X Noisettes - Never Forget You 5.222

A Re-entry after a one year absence from an old Urban track that I loved by a US artist; followed by a re-entry after a 3 year absence by an alternative rock track that I always loved; followed by the superior (IMHO) follow up to Don't Upset The Rhythm, that deserved to be a far bigger hit, but seems to have turned into a bit of a sleeper track, as it has outperformed it's more successful single on this countdown.

106 X 136 X X Lily Allen - Smile 5.237

105 130 130 127 109 Kelly Rowland – Stole 5.243

And now three female singers with song titles beginning with the letter S! A 60 place drop for Wolverhampton's Bev; a re-entry for Fulham's Lily; and a new ROTD year-end chart peak for DC's Kelly.

103 95 139 171 X Keane - Somewhere Only We Know 5.273

102 29 X 9 X Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars 5.289

Up next Australia's Holly climbs 7 places with her only UK chart topping single (to date); David Cameron's favourite band (much to their embarrassment) fall 8 with their chart break through; and that perennial iTunes Top 300 favourite falls 73 places.

100 124 38 94 47 Jamelia – Superstar 5.297

99 42 X X X Girls Aloud – Sexy! No No No 5.385

Sophie falls 17 places from last year; Jamelia climbs 24 places to also maintain her 5 year Top 200 ROTD status; whilst Girls Aloud fall 77 places from last year's Top 50 debut.

97 154 138 X 37 Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out 5.424

96 X X X X Beyonce – Sweet Dreams 5.444

Rihanna's audition to do a James Bond movie theme debuts inside the Top 100; Scotland's alternative rock band climb up 57 places to go Top 100 for the first time in 4 years; and the I Am Sasha Fierce track which utilises the Eddie Van Halen riff from Michael Jackson's Beat It debuts at #96.

94 X X 182 X Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl 5.469

93 63 X X X Girls Aloud - The Promise 5.485

The BEPs debut with their transatlantic 2009 chart-topping single; another US#1 smash hit (which samples Prince's Housequake to great effect) re-enters the Top 200 after a two year absence; and Girls Aloud's "The Pipettes doing the Blankety Blank theme tune" rip off 1960s girl group inspired excellent track falls 30 places.

Glad 'The Promise' fell, it's awful and disgustingly overrated - by far one of their worst songs along with 'Can't Speak French'.
