92 113 152 29 X Shakira ft. Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie 5.526

91 76 X 139 X Blu Cantrell ft Sean Paul – Breathe 5.541

90 X 194 X 160 White Stripes - Seven Nation Army 5.541

Shakira's worldwide monster hit single climbs 21 places to go back into the Top 100; Blu Cantrell's UK chart-topping single falls 15 places; and Jack & Meg White retro blues-rock anthem is a re-entry inside the Top 100 for the first time.

Glad 'The Promise' fell, it's awful and disgustingly overrated - by far one of their worst songs along with 'Can't Speak French'.

Their best by a mile for me

89 163 X X X Jordin Sparks ft Chris Brown - No Air 5.576

88 X 72 X X Sugababes - Stronger 5.588

87 51 X X X Britney Spears - Womanizer 5.606

Jordin Sparks single climbs 74 spots (possibly due to its use in Glee); the Sugababes 2.0 re-chart with this wonderful down tempo track; and the lead single from Circus falls 36 spots.

Hopefully No Air climbed on its own merits (seeing as it's quite easily my favourite R&B song of the last few years) as opposed to it having an average Glee cover. Nice to see Hips Don't Lie return to the top 100 :D

85 102 X X X Britney Spears - Piece Of Me 5.636

84 123 129 81 91 Dido – White Flag 5.649

The first download only UK#1 hit climbs 12 places (I always preferred Smiley Faces); the second single from Britney best album IMHO Blackout climbs 17 spots; and Dido (remember her) completes a 5th straight year on this countdown with a new peak.

83 X 115 11 8 Will Young – Leave Right Now 5.730

82 118 23 X X Amy Winehouse - Back To Black 5.821

81 87 87 173 82 Liberty X – Just A Little 5.853

The Eg White penned classic from the original Pop Idol winner's 2nd album Friday's Child returns to the Top 100; Amy Winehouse's title track from her brilliant retro soul second album climbs 36 places; and narrowly missing out on the Play-offs for the 3rd straight year was the band formed out those members rejected for Hearsay. (Was I the only one who watched the original Popstars show and actually picked 1 out of 5 of Hearsay - I'd have picked Myleene Klass; and 4 of Liberty X (bar Michelle Heaton)).

115 X X X 182 Oasis – Stop Crying Your Heart Out 5.147

Oasis make their sole appearance on the countdown (probably due to Leona Lewis covering it on her latest album).

Or maybe because it's by a distance their best song in 15 years and deserves to be in the top 200?

It should be, but this is Buzzjack, and he probably is quite correct on it being the Leona-factor. There's no other reason we'd place a male-fronted song so highly otherwise :(

True. It's an abomination that "Welcome to the Black Parade" isn't even top 200, as well.

On to #80 - #51 - The Losing Record Of The Decade Semi Finalists:

80 X X 169 113 Outkast - Ms Jackson

79 161 61 70 172 Mis Teeq – Scandalous

78 164 X X 187 Darude - Sandstorm

I'm still shocked that last year Outkast's Hey Ya finished outside the Top 35 of 2003 ROTY Game, and then no one nominated to re-selection this year. So I'm delighted to Big Boi & Andre 3000 make a reappearance in this Top 200 countdown. Next up, sees Alesha Dixon's (& 2009 I'm A Celeb contestant Sabrina Washington's (a shame her OMG much flopped as I thought it was far better than the Usher song of the same title)) old band rise 82 places; and a similar 86 place climb for dance outfit Darude.

76 104 X X X Coldplay - The Scientist

75 112 94 51 X Coldplay - Clocks

A re entry in the Top 200 for Beyonce, Kelly & Michelle; followed by two climbers from Coldplay's second (and IMHO best) album "A Rush Of Blood To The Head".

74 187 77 X X Britney Spears - Stronger

73 46 X X X Killers - Human

72 X X X X David Guetta ft Kelly Rowland – When Love Takes Over

An early period Britney/Max Martin anthem that deservedly rebounds 113 places; taken from their last album the Killers (best IMHO) single falls 27 places; and the wonderful dance anthem featuring the former Destiny's Child debuts at a very impressive #72.

70 30 45 24 48 Alicia Keys - Fallin'

69 143 134 X 95 Daft Punk - One More Time

The Soft Cell (Tainted Love) sampled track re-enters after a two year break for an artist who has 5 songs in the Top 200; Alicia Keys breakthrough hit literally does what the title says; and the French duo make it 4 years out of 5 in the Top 200 with the songs' highest position to date.

68 99 X 19 17 Evanescence – Bring Me To Life

67 52 40 X X Britney Spears – Gimme More

66 186 200 X X Christina Aguilera - Hurt

Amy Lee's gothic rock outfit climbs 31 places; the lead single from Blackout drifts another 15 places; and the emotional ballad from Back To Basics (that should have been a far bigger hit IMHO) climbs a monster 120 places.

64 67 55 28 36 Christina Aguilera - Dirrty

63 92 X X X Rihanna - Don’t Stop The Music

Eminem's stunning lyrics to a great Dido song feature for a 5 year running in the Top 100; as do Xtina's stunning 2002 single & video; whilst Rihanna climbs 29 places with the dance track that samples Michael Jackson's Wanna Be Startin' Something.

62 X 90 X 164 DJ Sammy – Heaven

61 X 99 X X Sugababes - Run For Cover

60 X X X X Black Eyed Peas – I Gotta Feeling

DJ Sammy reenters the Top 200 with the cover of the 1985 US#1/UK#37 hit single by Bryan Adams; I'm delighted to see this wonderful Sugababes 1.0 song (in the days when The Sugababes were a great band and not just a brand) re-enter after a year's break; and the Black Eyed Peas 2009 monster hit single debuts at #60.

59 X 89 136 40 Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

58 66 81 X X Christina Aguilera - Fighter

57 36 67 128 107 Sugababes – Round Round

Damon Albarn's animated band re-enter the chart with help from De La Soul; Xtina's rock anthem climbs 9 places from last year to hit a new peak; and the Sugababes 2.0's second single makes it 5 years out of 5 in the Top 200.

55 17 16 165 55 Britney Spears - Everytime

54 43 172 185 188 Fragma - Toca's Miracle

Green Day's tribute to the George W. Bush administration makes its first appearance in the Top 200; Britney's follow up ballad single to Toxic falls from inside the Top 20; and Fragma's dance anthem falls a respectable 11 places.

53 31 X X X Take That - Rule The World

52 62 X 120 X Take That - Patience

51 15 X X X Coldplay - Viva La Vida

..... And finishing things off with three songs I really think should have made the Top 50 ..... the song that is (spookily) being played on Radio 2 right now that never made #1 (thanks to Bleeding Love); the comeback single from the Robbie-free man-band; and Coldplay's first ever #1 hit single.
