I don't get the love for this song - it's not a bad song, but I wouldn't say it's a stand-out on the album. 4th? I wouldn't put it any higher than 8th. But hey, as Marina sings "It has no appeal", this song obviously must have some appeal, if it only came 2pts from the top 3 :o

oh as if that wasn't top 3. -_- 'obsessions' overrated much? it's the only song that hasn't really grown on me tbh, it's a borefest.

Obsessions is the 2nd best Marina's song mind you. -_-

Claiming the bronze medal, and not getting a rate less than 7, we have "Mowgli's Road". I do love this song, but it is my least favourite out of the top 3.

 

Who will claim the gold medal, and be officially crowned the best song on "The Family Jewels"? Well, if you want to know, your going to have to beg, because I have a sudden urge to keep the final result to myself :kink:

Expected 'Mowgli's Road' to come third, but it is still amazing :wub: Out of the two left, I want 'Obsessions' to win. It was the first ever Marina song I heard, early this year :wub: 'Hollywood' will probably win though

shame, 'mowgli's road' has grown on me a lot :wub: especially the chorus. I wouldn't put it in my top 5 favourites of the album though.

'hollywood' still ftw. although by the sounds of things it'll probably be 'obsessions' :( don't get the appeal for it at all tbh.

My views on the top 2 are that they are both great songs, and are both in my personal top 3 [along with "Are You Satisfied?"], but I'd have preferred an "Obsessions" win if I'm being honest, even though I realize I gave my 11 to "Hollywood".

 

However, the winner does contain the single greatest line ever to feature in a song.
