Christ on a bike, they are pretty much Mini versions of the cocky c**ts that appear on the main show.

Someone needs to tell Lord Allen/The BBC that you can get somewhere in business without being a c**t

Yes, but can you make entertaining television without being at least something of a cunt? Nine times out of ten, no.
I think my rating would be

Tim

Then a long way behind:

Yasmina

Michelle (but Ruth Badger was so obviously robbed)

Lee

.....

Simon.

I think any of the other finalists in the first series were better than any of the subsequent winners. I loved Saira Khan especially.

Norma

I always love the runners up more than the winners - Ruth Badger (fierce), Saira Kahn (brilliant, so shrewd and to the point) and orange Kristina (fantastic, and her relationship with Katie was beyond hilarious ). I liked Kate and Yasmina about the same last year, maybe the latter slightly more, but I'm guessing Yasmina wouldn't have gone on to host some tat on Channel 5 had she not won :drama:

My ranking (with the other finalists bolded);

Saira

Ruth

Kristina

Yasmina

Kate

Tim

Lee

Michelle

Claire (crap final 4 - Lucinda was the easy highlight of that series and 'I get on with prince or pauper' Raef )

Simon

Who was the former Apprentice contestant who went to become the presenter of CBBC show Beat The Boss? I actually think Beat The Boss is a great show which would be not too dissimilar to how I imagine Junior Apprentice being - only the young kids on BTB were genuinely decent.

That was either Ruth Badger or the almighty Siara Khan

Beat The Boss was Saira 'I. prononuce. every. thing. I. say. slowly. and. loudly. so. that. every. one. can. hear. me.' Kahn  Ruth Badger did the also excellent Badger Or Bust on Sky.
I really enjoyed it! :o Although, If I was on there I would have done something along the lines of selling cheese toasties at Camden Market. :heehee:

It was an interesting spin on the ordinary Apprentice. The lad who left looked like he was about to burst into tears when Lord Sugar said "you're fired". He did mess up, lacked proper management skills and wasn't fully focused on the task. He finally got into it in the last 30 minutes...a good seven hours too late. I reckon Lord Sugar chose him to go as he is supposed to be a very successful businessman but didn't show any of those qualities in tonights show.

The lad with the goofy teeth (the Cameron look-a-like) needs a smack. You can tell he's been a spoilt child all his life. The lad with the beard - whilst clearly lazy and unenthusiastic - is probably the lad I'd tolerate the most.

As for the girls, the team leader was clearly outshon by the blonde girl who successfully took control of the entire task. Without her, the other four girls wouldn't have made anywhere near as much money. The blonde girl could be the one to watch if tonights episode is anything to go off.

Loved the first ep, and the blonde girl (Zoe?) Is my fave so far I think.
im quite glad he left, hopefully next it'll be that annoying twelve year old Rhys, atm my faves are Tim and Arjun. Adam, Zoe and Hibah are OK as well.

You have to laught at how young some of them look, especially some of the boys and especially when compared to the lazy one with the beard (name?) who looks 10 years older than the asian one and the long faced finger up his arse one.

Boys werent overly impressive. I like the Darren Miller wannabe though, looks quite promoising. Right one definatly got fired aswell.

Girls, Zoe aside werent all that impressive either. The team leader didnt appear to do anything except cry at the fact that Zoe was selling too much :/

Serious LOL's at some of the guys.

Rhys - 17 year-old trapped in a 12 year-olds body.

Adam - Darren Miller anyone?

Tim - Ok, this guy is clearly thirty. Reminds me of Ben a lot - both EE Ben and Ben 'Scholarship to Sandhurst' Clarke.

Arjun - uhm yea maybe say more next week.

Jordan - Thank f**k he's gone. Walking like he's a stick up his backside, talking like he's sucking lemons. Painful. Delighted to see him gone first :D

Not much to say on the girls. Rather bland lot. Zoe obviously immediately stands-out. Expect she'll p*** everyone off pretty fast!

Very strange not to have Margaret there. I really like Karen but it's gonna take some getting used too.

Roll on next week :D

zoe was clearly the most focused and mature last night, but i think her cockiness will rile her fellow contestants.

that guy who got fired deserved it, hes the one i wanted to smack! thought he was better then the others and his pout when he saw the sacking coming was hilarious!

good show :)

there you buggers... i DO praise programmes when i think they deserve it! :P

Good lord, Rhys is vile - his voice is sooo irritating, constantly talking like he has a head cold?!

Adam and Tim are my best boys, and Zoe so far is my best girl, purely because she seems to be the only one who bloody did anything!

 Apprentice

i wanted to apply

has anyone on Buzzjack applied?

I've wanted to apply for years. Think i'm gonna get my degree first tho.

Over on another forum we use editing rankings to predict winners. It has helped us to predict the winners of many edited reality tv shows so thought I would share my thoughts.

CP - Complex character

OTT - Over the top character

MOR - Middle of the road character

UTR - Under the radar character

visibility scale

Jordan - CPN5 - Arrogant from the get go. These types of characters are normally the ones that you root against the entire season so therefore I never expected him to go this early. We got into his head with his opinions that he runs his own business and that he thought that he was better than everyone else. Negativity arose with his poor management skills and not listening to his team.

Rhys - MOR3 - Although he was a big part of the episode we didn't learn anything about him he was merely there to point out Jordan's mistakes. He clearly does not have what it takes to win this show going by this episode and needs to get those teeth sorted before he enters the business world.

Tim - OTT5 - Very visible throughout the episode although the majority of his antics were over OTT. He had a great idea with the credit crunch lunch. However, then used some weird excuse about it being too windy to make more packs. Having said this, he seems nice and down to earth and could be in with a shot if he sorts out the laziness.

Arjun - UTR2 - We learned that he thinks he is a maths and finance genius. However, the rest of the episode he was non existent and didn't seem to do anything.

Adam - CP3 - We learned about his background working in the markets. Good visibility for a first episode and he seems to want to speak up in the board room. One to watch out for.

Zoe - CP5 - We learn everything about her this episode and see that she is good at sales. There is a dominating female force every season and she seems to be that force this year. Problem being a dominating female character has never won and this lowers her chances.

Kirsty - CP2 - I feel we got to know a little about her and she was the first person to give us an insight to herself. I think she will be an important character this season.

Hannah - URT1 - I'm pretty sure she got a couple of comments here and there and made a sale. However, she was unimportant the entire episode.

Emma - MOR2 - She never really added anything to the episode and only got involved with the name decision and the board room drama. She seems very bland and will have to up her game if she wants to get anywhere.

Habiah - MORN4 - She definitely came across very negative and a poor team leader. Why did she feel the need to even join in the discussion when Zoes' sale was going well. To me she seems to be showing some jealousy. Her selling skills were also terribly poor as shown when she couldn't flog the cheese for cheap prices.

Winner Picks:

Adam

Zoe

Kirsty

Arjun

Potentials:

Tim

Rhys

On Rocky Ground:

Emma

Habiah

Eliminated:

Hannah

Jordan

Adam is amazing. Zoe is amazing. The whole thing was just fabulous! Jordan was obviously a prize cunt but he made for good TV so I'd rather the seriously appalling Rhys had been booted. 'Lord' Sugar seems a bit nicer to the contestants this time around. Gonna be interesting to see how the next few weeks unfold.
