Alex has sold alot more singles than JLS :P, i dont like JLS but they have done amazing anyway very happy to see B.O.B doing well :D

 

Actually she hasn't sold more yet:

 

Single sales:

Cheryl - 1,460,259

JLS - 1,151,900

Alexandra - 966,600

Leona - 337,128

Diana - 134,819

club is alive will shoot straight to #1; inevitable as its JLS.

 

All night long #6 & #44, doing well, could hit #5 now.

 

SPKZ remember hallelujah is off overcome.

 

Also if you count leona's single sales from the moment she won she has already sold roughly 3,300,000! WOW.

I'm just stating what will happen and what is happening now.

Including hallelujah would be stupid given it's ridiculously inflated sales not the mention unfair, seeing as JLS didn't have a "winner's song".

 

Those are the single sales from when both artists started their current album which hallelujah, IMO, wasn't a part of.

 

If however you do want to include hallelujah then we should wait until JLS release a fourth single before we compare. Comparing the sales of 3 singles vs 4 is never going work, espically when one of the singles was launched with huge hype as The X Facto's winner's song.

 

However including hallelujah doesn't make it look any better for Alex, with over 2m+ singles but only 600k (just) albums sold. Compare the same to JLS and Cheryl, and their album sales as a percentage of single sales is well over 50%

& I'm not your typical loon fan so please don't make out as if I am.. I only own one copy of their album and have no desire to buy anymore

Not really.

 

If you don't include Hallelujah but include Beat Again, then that is unfair too. That'd mean Alex only had one eligible single released before the album while JLS had two - meaning they would obviously have higher sales.

 

For a clearer perspective, i'd start from Everybody In Love and Bad Boys if you don't want to be unfair. They were both released before their albums and the following singles were released after the album.

yeah gunners 600,000 is great :) not denying that at all, very good figure, not many artists hit that.

I just think for alex the label would have hoped for more considering 4 singles, loads and loads of promo & lots of tv/radio support.

That includes the sales of ANL up until last week, so yes we should wait, but there's no way ANL is going to make a HUGE difference to that total. She may overtake JLS for sure, but it's not as though she will have sold twice as many as them or something like they have nearl done on albums
