So they ARE going to the Olympic Games after all! Nice move! Lol look at them! :heehee: Somebody better call the lifeguard (if it i not the one pulling them anyway from the front). Am I the only one here who doen't like the sailorman-musketeer image? The other team is laughing at them :kink:
DeNiro...have you been taking happy pills'..Louis Walsh TT's manager !!! & Bryan/Brian returning to Westlife

The new TT album will sell millions coming up to Xmas ....it will be interesting to see how it does in Europe

It will indeed be interesting to see how it does in Europe (and other big international markets such as Oz/South America/Mexico/Asia etc) - as the first single is bound to have quite a bit of Rob singing lead seeing as it will be the first single back - I can see it doing well if it is good obviously. I suspect the lead single may be shared vocals between Rob and Mark seeing as Rob and Gary will already still have Shame in the charts at that stage. What will be interesting is whether the album will be titled simply Take That or Take That with Robbie Williams - in the UK I suspect it will just be TT but abroad I think it will be different, especially for the tour - afterall the marketing to this whole venture will be masterful in order for the highest profit possible.

Brake That habit ... band bar booze on tour

Hamish Brown

TAKE THAT and party - with a nice picnic egg and maybe some fizzy juice.

GARY BARLOW and the lads have agreed to ban booze backstage when they hit the road next year.

The finest manband in the land have a lot to celebrate - a new album, an epic 54-date tour and the prospect of a £15million pay day each to come.

But the hell-raising and high jinks are behind them.

MARK OWEN has been battling his drink demons since March after confessing to ten drunken affairs.

He promised his wife EMMA FERGUSON that he had knocked his three bottles of wine a day on the head.

And the returning ROBBIE WILLIAMS has been on the wagon for years after spells in rehab.

A source said: "The boys have had time together over the last week working on the new video.

"They have had a chance to sit down and discuss plans for next year. It's a sensitive subject but booze will be off limits for the band and the crew.

"The Circus Tour was one giant party and, for Mark and Robbie's sake, that just won't work this time round."

Laugh

It's a sensible decision and shows how much the boys have matured.

When I interviewed Mark earlier this year he said he used to hit the bottle after every show.

Even Robbie's old man PETE CONWAY has talked about how different their antics will be this time around.

He said: "They are all married now and Rob has a girlfriend so it's different from when they were teenagers. They have different stuff going on in their lives. It won't get as wild as it used to."

I guarantee it won't stop the lads having a great laugh.

I had a well-oiled smash-up of a time on the road following them to Scotland, Sunderland and Wemberlee last year. I'll just have to sneak my Tennent's lager into the grounds in a long coat.

The booze might not be flowing but Robbie is still filling his boots at the moment.

As well as the Take That tour and new album - and his own Greatest Hits Collection due out - he's also releasing a computer game.

We Sing Robbie Williams lets fans perform 25 of his hits on their Nintendo Wii and is out in October.

And he's also in negotiations for a new record deal that could net him up to £100million.

Robbie Williams plans Take That bonding holiday in LA and Las Vegas

The Mirror.co.uk

22/07/2010

Now Robbie is Back for Good he is desperate to Take That & Party with his old buddies.

He is organising a lads' bonding holiday in the sun next month, ahead of the release of new TT album The Flood and their mega tour.

Teetotal Rob, 36, has invited his Take That bandmates to his home in LA and is planning a jaunt from there to Vegas to check out the shows in preparation for their reunion tour next year.

But unlike their road trips of the past, girls, drugs and booze are banned.

Their other halves will be pleased, especially Mark Owen's missus Emma. Pals say she is desperately trying to trust him again after he sought treat-ment for his numerous affairs. A source tells us: "When Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason got back together in 2006 they went on a road trip from LA to Vegas to get into the swing of being in a group again.

"They had an absolute ball - it was that kind of thing Robbie felt he has missed out on.

"Going to Vegas is like a pilgrimage for them. In the past Gary has insisted they go there to get ideas for the tour. It's easy to disappear, away from prying eyes, work on ideas and chill out.

"So when Robbie suggested a lads' holiday, one of his ideas was Vegas.

"They have all met up on nights out.

But a bonding holiday will help prepare them for being in each other's company day in and day out, like they will be on tour. Vegas is perfect - it's not far from Rob's place in LA or the studio where they can rehearse. And it'll give them time to come up with ideas for the tour. They have a skeleton idea of what they want to do, but things change all the time.

"It will be a working holiday so the girls generally don't go along with them.

"It will be tough on Mark and Emma, but they have to get used to trusting each other again. It is his job to be away so much, unfortunately."

Oh dear! Well .. it's his decision or theirs .... hope Rob made da step for all the GOOD reasons :)

Am reasonably convinced he dusnt do this for da money .... but heee wot do I know eh? ;)

For meself I dont have a need to see TT on tour ... never had .. never will.

No, I don't think I'll be scrambling for tickets either <_<

He stands a chance of putting Mark and Gary's moves in the shade ... not a chance in hell of him outshining Howard and Jay's moves though.

I must say though ... I'm impressed with this show of commitment. Maybe he'll follow Gary and Jason and quit the ciggies too!

He can hardly look worse than this lot can he  cringeworthy would cover it very well ;)

Maybe not! But I doubt he'd be able to keep up with the dancing in this. From the moment Gary runs back and hides behind the drum kit ... Howard, Jason and Mark are in the middle of that. The song is a bit crap but the dancing is great.

No ... Rob has a lot of work to do to keep up with Howard, Jason and even Mark. It's good that Gary is probably as crap a dancer as Rob though.

:o :o :o :o :o

Sweet little jeasus! What is that? TT trying to be JLS? Well they cannot be! (thank god)

They should really quit the hilarious dancing, it is beyond obvious they cannot dance like this. Leave the beat for Gaga Kesha or Jason Derulo please!

Come on Norma if TT were like what we see in the video would they have even sold 1/10 of what they have since their reunion? It is not even entertaining it is pathetic (no comment for the outfit lol!). Robbie cannot dance like that (pfeww) but none of the 4 of them can either. <_<

I really hope that Mark and Howard won't do their gay burst dancing and Rob won't do the monkey dancing! I hope they won't repeat the dance moves they did when they were teenagers (which are all out of fashion btw) because of which most of their fans went undercover feeling embarased to admit they loved the cheeky band.

TT and of course Robbie deserve MUCH more than this nevertheless. ;)

Well I'm afraid Rob's going to have to get used to it ... in fact ... it looks like he positively relishes the opportunity. Kim Gavin has got some really strenuous routines for them to get through. No ... they did the GGF as a one-off to apease the first-time fans (the routine is almost move-for-move the way they did it the first time ... and yes ... Rob will have been a part of it. I actually quite liked it (the outfits were a bit sh/te I agree). I think Howard and Jason did brilliantly. You'd best not see their pole-dancing bit though! God knows what you'd make of the clown sequence from the Circus Tour ... they drop their pants at the end of it. Yes ... Rob has all this to come. I'm actually looking forward to it now!

You know what though ... I'd rather have a few dodgy dance moves and some good singing to go with it rather than some middle-aged guy strutting round the stage like a peacock waving his microphone in the air getting the audience to sing his songs.

Norma

Mind you ... I'd rather have that than this!

Well, the Beatles Medley is ace, isn't it?

A workout is never bad, at least not for these lazy 5 who had enough money (especially Robbie) to avoid doing anything at all on their own. A healthy lifestyle and a 'Maddona' daily workout is not sth god himself can persuade Robbie to follow mind you. They will all eat pizza and drink beers watching football every single week!!!

:P :P :P

Robbie positively relishes the opportunity now as he always does (although I believe he honestly likes it) in a diplomatic way but he can really handle a great image and is smart enough to make his move later on if needed. His communication tallent is not inferior to his entertaining tallent. And this one is getting better with age.

Seriously now, I love Robbies entertaining abillity and you would never call him middle-aged on stage.

I believe the the Circus tour was a very nice tour overall. (I have to admit I do not remember the hardcore stuff you mentioned). Robbie drops his pants frequently so it won't be much of a sock. And I am not too sure about the good singing either. Robbie has his ups and downs, Gary's voice is not like it was years before and the rest 3 could never sing well. I want it to turn out well in a 'magic' way but it may be fun to watch it if it does not anyway. B)

Eugh what a load utter tosh  The audience in all three clips would be better off forking out on a trip to Vegas if it was cheese to the extreme they were after - at least then they would be guaranteed a bit of bloody quality and would get a slap up meal thrown in as well  I truly do despair of Rob's stupidity sometimes - to go from what was essentially the pinnacle of massive scale performances in terms of having the unique ability among pop stars to be able to hold a crowd in the palm of his hands and make them have to time of their life for 2 hours solely due to his own talent as a performer without the need for all the endless crap/distractions that virtually all other pop acts these days HAVE to use(because most of them would quite simply fall flat on their arses and bore the audience to tears otherwise without having a Vegas like 'show' surrounding them) with the legendary Knebworth gig back to doing beyond naff and extremely outdated dance routines in the most un-individualistic and generic manner possibly imaginable for pop acts. Virtually anyone as long as they were fit enough could 'dance' to that quality and also (with a bucket load of money and a creative team) could build a show around themselves - but after a certain age it aint really about if you can do it - because it IS and DOES look ridiculous - although tbh I've always found boyband dance routines the pure definition of ridiculous and cringeworthy. In a way I have to admire Westlife and their stool sitting ways - they obviously took the time to watch back a few of the performances and it dawned on them how bloody $h!t it is or perhaps Louis Walsh broke the news in his usual blunt manner.

Rob can get as fit as is humanly possible but the fact is the matter is he is going to look like a complete fool to being virtually one of the very few pop stars on the planet capable of selling out stadiums across the globe on the same level as U2, Madge and The Stones to going back to choreographed nonsense designed for someone half his age - if he was in his 20s and was actually a talented dancer like Usher it would be somewhat acceptable but really and truly he is just going to make himself a laughing stock. Will be refreshing to see him put a lot of energy into performances again though as since the comeback he hasnt been the performer he once was whatsoever - we saw glimpses of the old Robbie but sadly he appeared to think the public wanted him to be like Gary as was evident from the lack of energy and the bloody M&S cardigans - since re-joining with the lads I see he looks more like he used to what with the muscle shirt similar to the EMI deal back in 2002 - so perhaps if this does anything it will give him the spark and enthusiasm back for live performing in the same manner as 3 years ago. I could almost bare it then - but if it means when he does go back to his solo career all we as solo fans have to look forward to is MOR solo albums co-written with Gary Barlow with the two of them in matching cardigans then thanks but no thanks but I'll be sticking to the old albums

Great post De Niro re Robbie & TT...is he insane or that bored with his solo career that he need TT to get some excitement in to his life ....I taped An Audience with TT on TV 3 last week & watched some of it last week & the remainder last night & what the hell Gary Barlow sang the lead in nearly evry bloody song , they should have called it the Gary Barlow show & now Robbie is going along for the trip ...the only thing I can see me getting out of this is a good laugh along with every other serious solo fan out there ...& to think this is the guy that did Slane, Knebworth, Colonge & a World tour where he sold over 3.5 million tickets .....is it a case of ' I did it all ' according to Robbie & now there is little left in the tank so this is better than nothing ....dire !!!!

& TT need to give up that stupid dancing , they are well past it & when Robbie has a go then we will have a real laugh <_<
