Posted May 16, 201015 yr Shockingly it appears Rob is set to release a 4th single from RKTVS - Do You Mind. Well according to the Daily Mail anyway. Earlier, the pair had been hanging out on the set of Robbie's new video for his upcoming single Do You Mind? from his last album Reality Killed The Video Star. May 16, 201015 yr Author I have to say i am very suprised he is bothering with another single after Morning Sun flopping. Although having said that Do You Mind is very upbeat and perfect for the summer and with the World Cup etc. Infact I bet it will be the theme tune for Soccer Aid as it was used for some Footie event a while back if I recall. I can't see him doing any promo for it as he hasnt performed it at any of the promo gigs last year but I think it will be a great single and should get alot of airplay as it is very catchy. He's written loads of similar but far better songs over the years that were not singles so in a way I wish he had've just left it at Mornign Sun but this way the album will at least have a better chance of passing the 1 million mark in the UK. :D
May 16, 201015 yr Author Yeah it's a good tune alright - but tbh he has written loads of similar type of songs over the years that have never been singles - most noteably 'A Place To Crash' - which is far superior imo and should have been the 4th single from IC -it was actually planned as the 4th along with Ghosts as a double A-Side but than he changed his mind and released Rudebox. :P
May 17, 201015 yr :o I was sure he was going to release Won't do that! I think it was almost obvious. Do you mind is ok but if he is not about to promote it why bother releasing it anyway. :huh: If this is true I hope it does well, it is definitely not my favorite one of his :P
July 17, 201014 yr What's going on with this? "Do You Mind?" was definitely my favourite on RKTVS and was quietly hoping it would get a single release so was quite pleased to see this thread. But theres been no more news for nearly two months and what with the Take That re-union it seems unlikely it will get a release.
