This is more the type of follow-up song she should have released following her 1st album, rather than NB. Don't get me wrong, NB wasnt an awful album but it lacked potential single material.

I'm mod of the Tash forum but I don't mind if the topic stays here for a while, the most important is her to get some attention. The song totally deserves it

And playing this on repeat on my Itunes doesn't make it less amazing

It has the potential to be better than PFOS ^_^

Hey lovelies! Exciting news: iTunes has just released a sneak peak from my new album! The track is called TOUCH. Hope you luv it like i do x

So, not a single it seems?

Ropey vocal for the first couple of minutes but she really gets into it at the end and her stage presence has become quite huge. She looks the best she ever has too.

I agree, she looks absolutely stunning. She's gorgeous!

She seemed great in that performance!

Really great song! Love the beat and the chorus! If this is only a buzz track, I am definitely looking forward to this next album. I think it would make a great single though. Probably my favorite track of her's since her Unwritten stuff!

The album is out next week. I don't hold much hope for it since Strip Me has so far peaked at #99 on the Hot 100 but anyhow... it leaked in webrip form today, minus 'Recover' and 'Weightless (Less Is More Version)'.

It's good but it's all very acousticy-pop telling stories - very much in the vain of the album tracks from Unwritten, in fact it's like a 2010 version of that album. There aren't really any huge standouts either (apart from the sensational Touch of course). I think they'll go with Weightless for next single but I hope not. All I Need is better, even though it's literally a re-write of Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf.

'Strip Me' actually peaked a #95 so far. :P Minor difference but still.

Yeah, it'll bomb and I'm not cinvinced the UK release will bring much luck for her either. :( Still, looking forward to it all the same.

Has nobody bothered cheking the album out then? After two or three listens you get used to the slightly unexpected direction of it and it HITS YOU. It's incredible. Neon Lights is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for Christmas. The whole thing is so strong that she could easily milk it for four more singles.

ps. could some kind soul change the topic title to Natasha Bedingfield - 'Strip Me' please?

People have in her artist forum.

I downloaded it last night it was alright. Better than I was expecting, but it's certainly no 'Unwritten'. However, I do love 'Neon Lights' (I'm surprised you never mentioned it before), 'Strip Me' (first time hearing it last night), 'Weightless' and obviously 'Touch', though. That one with Kevin Rudolf was alright too.

THANK GOD it's no Unwritten! That's an awful album. Aside from the singles and Frogs & Princes every song is cheese-tastica with ultra dated production. NB is much stronger.

And I didn't even know she had an AF. Whoops.

You can't be serious, 'Frogs & Princes' is one of the worst tracks on that album. Unwritten was a fantastic debut and has stood the test of time as a classic for me, it's a very musically diverse album.

This album is leagues and leagues behind Unwritten, although far better than the letdown that was N.B. I used to be a huge Natasha fan, Unwritten is one of my all time favourites and far from sounding dated, I thought it really stood out and sounded very fresh at the time, plus it had a mix of gorgeous ballads like Wild Horses, along with the great quirky pop of Unwritten, Silent Movie and These Words.

Then Pocketful Of Sunshine was brilliant too, taking the five or six great songs from N.B. (thank god she ditched the crap) and added another lot of great tracks like the title track, Freckles and Put Your Arms Around Me. The only song I missed from N.B. was No More (What If's), which was better in solo form without Eve anyway imo.

This new album at times lacks the personality and, well memorable melodies of her past material. The singles are amongst the highlights and I've never really been that into either of them. I like the Kevin Rudolf track, even if it is basically Natasha doing Let It Rock. Neon Lights, Weightless, No Mozart and Unexpected Hero are other highlights for me but don't ask me how the remaining five songs go, because after about five run throughs of this album, they've failed to make any sort of impact on me. A solid album, but the weakest of her three (I tend to think of N.B. as her sort of Wordshaker - she used the best material to better use elsewhere so lets pretend it never existed )
