I can't believe Eminem is so high on the charts -_- I remember being very happy when he announced his retirement from the music business.

Bringing them back would make the urban domination even worse I think.

If you guys just have patience and accept that's the way things are at the moment, the sound *will* tire soon enough. I'd give it a year maximum.

 

Anyway, looks like Eminem could go to #1, and he could do it officially next week given there's nothing big out AFAIA :o Apart from Glee's Bad Romance/Poker Face episode of course, they stand a very small chance.

 

EDIT: David Guetta could actually do it, next week is hardly a high sales week.

Before I read this thread, there hasn't been any random American Idol spoilers posted regarding who's won, right?

 

No one has posted but of course the first story I saw online was about AI and now I know who won which is a pain.Really looking forward to Will Young, Christina and Janet, I hear Will is doing very well on US itunes which is great.The Eurovision is on tonight so some songs may enter the Top 200.Really hope Keri Hilson can climb it is such a good song and her voice sounds really soulful.

It's a much better semi, so there should be some sort of impact, although the most impact will obviously be on Saturday night/Sunday. Hopefully the winner (if it's not one of the two favourites that aren't on iTunes) can go top 40.

^^there is alot of movement, not been in as much this week so have only saw it a few times.the difference is now songs rise and fall quicker (unless they are massive hits eg alicia keys) because they are front loaded rather than steady risers - also the steady risers stall in and around no12 unless they get tv performances generally!!

Chris Moyles had a bit of a Stevie Wonder fest this morning and played it a few times. Also mentioned doing some kind of campaign to get it back into the charts so that might be why -_-
