Someone just told me via twitter that Pixie Lott is performing on BGT tommorow ? :S.. Apparently one of her dancers tweeted about it

So either Miley is not performing at all, we are going to have two performers on one night.. or Usher has been moved to Saturday instead and Miley on Thursday.. JLS are definately performing on Friday as theres a comp to win tickets to see them

Alicia Keys performing today.. TSWABH will surely go top 10.. We've all seen the effect of X Factor & BGT gets a lot more viewers

Meh both the 2008 series were the best (eScala, George Sampson, Kate & Gin, Alex, Ruth etc) but the 2009 series were crap in comparison.

 

I prefer XF cos I love music and listening to music all evening is better than watching opera singers and many of the same dance troupes.

Ok this is my run-down of the performers due on BGT this week (some are rumoured):

 

Diversity - yes they deserve to perform since they won the show.

 

Alicia Keys - a good choice and a great artist.

 

Pixie Lott? - crap choice. She's not exactly hyped and her material is poor imo. Crap live too.

 

Miley Cyrus - There's far better alternatives but her single is pretty decent I guess.

 

JLS - don't let me list the 1001 reasons why I disagree with this choice.

 

Usher - he appears really up himself. I guess he's been successful so that's apparently a worthy justification but I still dislike him a lot as a person.

 

Cheryl Cole - I like her but what will she be promoting? She's not the best live performer.

 

SuBo - while I don't like her style, she's got good reasons to perform.

 

Don't like this list of performers in general. :(

It doesnt actually, yes last years final got 19.2 million, but XF just bested that with their final (I believe it was 19.5)

 

Last years BGT was brilliant and set the standard, so it deserved it, Talent-wise, XF was poor in comparison to 2008, but it was ceratinly the memorable, controversial series yet so those figures were understandable

 

This years BGT has been poor in comparision to last year, so could this mean a vintage year for XF? :o

I personally think if Miley dosen't get top 10 this week she will not get it next week ? does anyone agree ?????

Also.... Miley's dropped back down to 25.. it's real close from 15-25.

I love listening to music, but I don't want to listen to people who can't sing for however many weeks the auditions go on for.

I prefer BGT because it has variety

I see no reason why Pixie being on is more laughable than Miley to be honest. Pixie's sold more in the UK than Miley has surely.....

 

Surely BGT wont get 19 million again this year? Theres been no hype in the media as there was last year. Althought more people watched it on Saturday than they did Eurovision so what the hell do I know?

 

I though the final of X-Factor only got about 16 mill last year (only :lol:)
