Printed the scoresheets for me & the parents. Put on my facepaint - the Union Jack is just a mess, but the Norwegian flag looks ok. I may upload some low-quality images later. I've also got an A4 sheet with Lena on, just put it up on my wall. Now I've missed the first 10mins of Doctor Who, so dunno whether to bother watching tonight or stay here until Eurovision starts.

I've officially made up my mind on the winner. Lena pls.

Actually any of Israel/Iceland/Germany win would be wonderful!

I've just realised that i've never made a prediction about who's gonna win in ESC, NEVER! :o (Well, ok apart from last year but i did it subconsciously, and it was an obvious winner let's admit)

Here are the winners I predicted from 2000-2009 to see how close I was;

2000 - Estonia // Ines - wrong - 4th

2001 - Denmark // Rollo & King - wrong - 2nd

2002 - Germany // Corinna May - wrong - missed the top 20  hope that's not a bad omen for Lena, this was the last time Germany were the pre-contest favourite!

2003 - Russia // t.A.T.u - wrong - 3rd - I was so surprised t.A.T.u didn't win - they would have done if the UK had given them 3 or more points rather than nul, despite the fact that they were one of the biggest acts of the year for us in 2003

2004 - Ukraine // Ruslana - correct :cheer:

2005 - Greece // Helena Paparizou - correct :cheer:

2006 - Greece // Anna Vissi - wrong - 9th

2007 - Russia // Serebro - wrong - 3rd

2008 - Russia // Dima Bilan - correct - this was the year I got the entire top 4 correct, and in the correct order  Maria shocked me in 5th though :o

2009 - Norway // Alexander Rybak - correct - foregone conclusion

So I got 4 right and 6 wrong in the noughties...

2006 - Greece // Anna Vissi - wrong - 9th

2007 - Russia // Serebro - wrong - 3rd

Apparently you went wrong with the pop side

In my books, Lordi were a surefire winner when they got through to the final in the first place. The following year I predicted Verka Serduchka (the best ESC entry ever!) and last year it was useless to even think about others than Rybak

Lordi completely caught me off guard to be honest, I thought it was Anna Vissi vs. Carola and Lordi would be mid-low top ten somewhere. I genuinely didn't think they'd capture enough of the televotes to win!

No thanks, I'm perfectly fine with my perfect Harel

Israel is still my favourite by far but i want Germany to win, as Israel doesn't see to be bothering the Top 3

a big act with a $h!t song....

Verka Serduchka (the best ESC entry ever!)

I'm sorry, that must surely be a mistake. Verka Serduchka is one of the worst Eurovision entries ever -_-

I know it came 2nd, but imo, it was complete & utter rubbish. Worst Ukraine entry so far, bar none <_<

Well the final is almost here, the excitement begins,id just like to say good luck to the whole Irish team especially Niamh Kavanagh, come on IRELAND

The song perhaps but the performance was just ace and Verka represents everything that I love in the ESC :D

Seriously? You predicted Norway to not win last year?

I kind of did, but didn't want to admit it was a foregone conclusion. I thought it was very overrated :(

05 Spain - Daniel Diges "Algo pequeñito" Eurovision loves the Spanish

Erm, does it?

This year i have a nice few small bets placed on the eurovision so it will add to the excitement of voting along with hoping ireland do well
How the f*** did Sweden DNQ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

[Yes i'm slow, but i've just watched SF2 the now]

Anna started off a bit shaky in her performance, that's probably why :(
