May 31, 201015 yr I'm beginning to wonder if Satellite's lead would have been an even more runaway one if it was televoting only this year...I reckon some juries will have marked her down a tad. After last year I thought Fairytale would be a one off smashing around Europe on such a large scale but Satellite has completely stolen its thunder - smashing around half of Europe BEFORE the contest, and then the other half afterwards  The 2011 winner has a hell of a lot to live up to. I'm so glad Azerbaijan didn't win, I haven't seen Drip Drop doing overly well in many charts at all, it's doing about as well as Believe did - what an awful winner that was!
May 31, 201015 yr Looks like Moldova got the 12pts from the tele-vote  But Denmark must've got some points from the tele-vote, as it's impossible for the 12-pointer overall to not get any points from the tele-vote.
May 31, 201015 yr Looks like Moldova got the 12pts from the tele-vote  Of course, it's Romania after all!
May 31, 201015 yr Dunno if this is the right place for these, but here are the tele-voting results in Australia: 1. Turkey 44,163 2. Greece 43,480 3. Germany 16,138 4. Serbia 14,246 5. Armenia 8,217 6. Romania 7,238 7. Ukraine 6,710 8. Iceland 6,578 9. Belgium 6,550 10. Bosnia & Herzegovina 6,373 11. Albania 5,755 12. Israel 5,549 13. Spain 4,191 14. Ireland 4,182 15. Cyprus 3,544 16. Norway 3,398 17. Moldova 3,347 18. Azerbaijan 3,067 19. Denmark 2,739 20. France 2,219 21. Russia 2,154 22. United Kingdom 2,084 23. Portugal 2,005 24. Georgia 1,949 25. Belarus 750
May 31, 201015 yr Australia? Am I missing something? Televoting in Australia? The show is broadcast there (not live), so they also had their own tele-vote which of course has no influence on the proper results.
May 31, 201015 yr Author Eek at the Greek and Turkish domination over there as well! :o I didn't know they had a televoting thing at all though.
June 1, 201015 yr True. I'm not racist and I don't really believe in political voting, but it is kind of shocking how the UK gives it's top points to Greece and Turkey EVERY YEAR
June 1, 201015 yr Yeah, the Aussies do have a vote thats purely for the sheer hell of things. I believe it is counted down on the SBS website and shows how the Aussies would vote if they could.
June 1, 201015 yr True. I'm not racist and I don't really believe in political voting, but it is kind of shocking how the UK gives it's top points to Greece and Turkey EVERY YEAR  more shocking is that in the past 2 years we had 50% jury and they still got the top marks  though Turkey this year (well and last year for me too :kink: ) was outstanding.
June 4, 201015 yr I've seen this posted online as the Turkish votes; Jury: 12 Azerbaijan 10 Albania 8 Bosnia & Herzegovina 7 Russia 6 Germany 5 Moldova 4 Ukraine 3 Romania 2 Georgia 1 Norway Televoting: 12 Azerbaijan 10 Armenia 8 Germany 7 Georgia 6 Greece 5 Bosnia & Herzegovina 4 France 3 Romania 2 Ukraine 1 Albania I'm not sure if it's been confirmed though.
June 4, 201015 yr 10 to Armenia is just a tad shocking, given their song was an implicit bitch-off to the Turkish for the Armenian genocide, and indeed got a few complaints for being so upon being selected...
June 4, 201015 yr Had a feeling France would have been severely dampened by juries. I'm certain it was top ten in the overall televote - oh well, at least it's smashing across Europe regardless :cheer:
June 4, 201015 yr There was a rumour France was 5th in the public vote, but 18th with the juries, which would tie in with France today criticising the 50/50 split and calling for it to be a solely public vote.
June 4, 201015 yr I can see where France is coming from if that is true, but no no no, I do not want to go back to 100% tele-vote.

I really f***ing hate France's Eurovision team. They'd have criticised 100% televoting last year! :manson:
