Time to lighten this thread up a bit I think. If you click here and fast-forward it to 11 minutes in, there's a comedy discusion on the Israel/Palestine conflict from an Northern Irish perspective, which I think is appropriate given how often it's been mentioned in this thread. It takes the pi$$ out of the fact that over here, people from a nationalist background (which I suppose you could include myself in) support Palestine almost 100% of the time, due to perceived similarities between there and the Irish conflict, whilst almost all people from unionist backgrounds support Israel in the conflict, due to the perceived similarites between NI nationalists and Palestinians in their eyes.

Suppose you were an American helicopter gunship commander in Iraq war, you get intelligence that Chemical Ali is in a restaurant having a meal and you get confirmed sightings, the restaurant is packed with say 70 diners, the glass is bullet proof and the only way to take out Chemical Ali is by wiping out the entire restaurant with a missile from the gunship, would you give the order to fire ?

If they're using forged Irish passports and stealing identities of Irish citizens, then, frankly, they deserve it... That whole issue is really murky and disturbing and you have to seriously wonder whether Isreal are indeed friends of UK or Ireland at all if they're getting up to this sort of thing.....
