I dont think anyone has claimed the song is universally hated its just that after All Night Long we were expecting a step up from that.Start Without you is radio friendly and going down a storm in the clubs but I think Alex should leave cheesy pop to boy bands.The song has grown on me after Chatty Man but a better video would have helped it a great deal.

'The Silence' is amazing! It's definitely the fan favourite.

 

Regarding the BT awards, I voted for Alex on Best Song and Best Video but opted for Leona for Best Female.

Laughably bad video, and just as the song was starting to not sound pig-$h!t awful too. And whoever decided to release a song clearly made for a July/August release in the first week of September needs their head tested too.

She went from her best in 'All Night Long' to her worst with 'Start Without You' imo. :(

I have just watched it and it is disgusting it looks like a gay porn advert. How could the video they had already filmed possibly be worse than this?

Such a bad video, like some cheap remake of Physical. Song is still preety good though.

She looks great there is no debating that and I don't think the song is that bad I'm just so bored of it since it has been out for about 4 months.

I completely agree - i dont get the love for The Silence at all its a vile song imo. This is poor but better than The Silence.

'The Map', 'Turbulence' and 'Perfect' would have all been brilliant singles though.

I wonder if Simon Cowell got behind the camera to direct this it is so over the top camp and maybe he is looking for a new toyboy.
