ew I'm so not buying this. Maybe if he wasn't being paid x amount of money to be with Take That again (puke), then I wouldn't actually mind.

I doubt the money matters to Robbie , he is the one worth mega bucks already so he hardly needs it !!!

Robbie is having his 'gap' year with Take Hat...looks like he is gonna enjoy it

To be honest, I'm not too fond of Take That either. :( I'd much rather see Rudebox p.2, not that RKTVS was bad, it just isn't one of his better albums. & Shame is awful. :(

Shame is dreadful but is very personal to Robbie & Gary but defo not mu cup of tea, fair is fair though & people liked it as it topped the airplay charts in the UK & got to No 2 so somebhody was buying it.

The bonus tracks on I&OOC are fab, I cannot believe that they released such good tracks on GH2 & makes the album well worth buying ....makes me wonder what other gems Robbie has hidden away

Oh I think the money matters very much. Yes ... they're all mega rich (not just Robbie incidentally). But ... just like shoes and handbags for WAGS ... a popstar can never have too much money.

On another matter ... I've now listened to The Flood a few times and, to be honest, people are bigging it up way too much. Just because it is better than Shame ... doesn't make it a great song. I may give Take That a total miss this time round ... and no ... not because of Robbie ... I just don't think they're that great as a four or a five! I've grown up I suppose.

What's the name of the song that Take That & Robbie have done, I wanna check it out :D

The Flood. It ain't too bad ... and a huge improvement on Shame. After hearing it a few times now ... I don't think its as great as I first thought (probably the 'better than Shame' had me more euphoric than I should have been). Rob does the lead vocals (Gary is supposed to be in there too ... but on the radio edit ... his voice is cut out anyway). The chorus is however ... very stirring ... but it really does remind me of Little Boots' Remedy.

I have listened to The Flood a couple of times in the last few days & it is not a bad song at all, I am sure it will do very well in the charts ( well in the UK anyway & most likely here as well as TT seem to have quite a few fans in Oireland )

Ya it should do well in Ireland aswell, it will be intersting to see how the flood and progress does in Europe,

Rock DJ from last nights SCD for those that missed it (it seems most people did on the forums  )

Loved the inclusion of both 'Rudebox' and 'Keep On' - his duet with Lily Allen :D

Three fantastic interviews with Rob. Some interesting points made especially regarding how terrible the 06 tour was for him and how he won't be touring again solo for a long time. Although I fully understand this I can't help be a little annoyed as to why he said as recently as December that there would defiantly be a solo tour before 2012. Anyway they are very good interviews.

Plus the Daybreak interview from this morning and the performances :D

If they promote it - I can see it doing very well in Europe and beyond. I bet they are going to perform it on the MTV EMA's on November 7th in Madrid, although maybe MTV will tell Rob to feck off considering he pulled out last minute last year.

New TV Advert for IAOOC :D

Midweeks should be in, in a few hours time. Let's hope it indicates Rob is in line for his 9th UK #1 album. Currently the album is #2 and #3 on Itunes (therefor #1), #1 and #2 on Play, #1 and #15 on Amazon, #1 on Asda and #1 on HMV so it is looking good.

Itunes:

UK: #2 and #3 (therefor #1)

Germany: #1

Austria: #1

Ireland: #1

Luxembourg: #1

Belgium: #2

Netherlands: #2

Switzerland: #4

Finland: #5

France: #6

Italy: #9

Denmark: #10

With number 1s in all those other countries ... why is it so important for him to get a UK number 1 album again? I don't get it. Its a fuss over nothing. I'm sure Take That would rather have had no UK number 1 album and been number 1 in all the other countries.

Well I doubt it means too much to most of his fans tbh but personally due to being so interested in charts and sales I really want to see him go out with a #1 album before he rejoins TT. He was very unlucky with RKTVS missing the top spot last year and I am getting a bit sick of him getting to #2. Also it means he will have more #1 albums than any British male in history if he reaches 9. It isnt a huge big deal but it's been 4 years since his last #1 so it would be nice to see. Him getting #1's elsewhere it a given. It is fantastic but it always happens. RKTVS was #1 in Itunes in 18 or 19 countries.

I can see the TT album getting to #1 in Germany at least if they do some promo.

From Music Week thanks to Mikey.

Robbie Williams looks set to top the albums chart this Sunday with his new greatest hits set, while Cee-Lo Green should hold onto his singles crown.

In what is a busy week for both charts, there will be six new albums challenging for a top 10 position this Sunday. Leading the pack, Williams’ In And Out Of Consciousness (Virgin) looks a dead cert to top the chart after selling more than 41,000 copies on its first day of release

Fantastic news. 'A dead cert' means he is well ahead and 41K first day are fantastic sales. It is possible he may even pass the 100K barrier by Sunday. :D :D :D

His sales are even more amazing than I first thought. Apart from Eminem's album 'Relapse' released earlier this year selling 49K first day - there is no other album so far in 2010 to sell as much as Rob has sold first day. In fact only two albums sold over 100K first week this year - Eminem being one with near 140K first day and Oasis Single Collection being the second with just over 100K. Rob is on course to sell more than Oasis to achieve the second fastest selling album of the year so far. For his second GH collection this is beyond impressive especially seeing the huge amount the first sold.

He has now overtaken David Bowie for having the most #1 albums ever by a British solo artist. A great relief that he will be leaving his solo career (for the time being) on a high with a #1. :D

Jeez De Niro , is Ireland coming up trumps at long last afetr they have been treachoursly letting Robbie down recently <_<

I so want this particular to get the number 1 , it is a brilliant catalogue of work  :cheer:

It would be interesting if we somehow knew how much each format of IAOOC sells. It looks as if the deluxe version sells better than the simple one. This is understandable since the deluxe is SO much better (not to mention the Ultimate which is however sadly very expensive) but it is a HUGE thing, isn't the it? I don't recall many deluxe editions doing that good despite the fact deluxe is more expensive. Not to mention artists nowadays usually have to promote a bunch of (hit) singles to push the (cheap) album. Being able to sell an expensive + multi-disc album on the back of the 'annoying' Shame demostrates what a big album selling power Robbie still is.

At last an easy no1 for RW after a LONG time. :cheer:
