Will Three Lions and Three Lions '98 be combined does anyone know? I know The Squad version's counted separately...

I must have either version of the song about 10 times each on various compilations

I'm holding out for them to be combined but I don't really know. If they chart separately I'll have to revise the chart run of Three Lions in the top 100 updates I post in the T75A/S+C thread, because I consider TL'98 to be a re-release of Three Lions and since it's still credited to the same artist I consider it the same song and so they share the same chart run.

It's a strange one because they're different songs lyrically in the verses/commentrary bits, but then they combined Gettin' Over with Gettin' Over You and they're lyrically different too. But then I guess that was a remix, whereas Three Lions '98 though technically a remix, was seen as a re-do at the time.

Very odd situation

It depends on what the OCC thinks about it anyway - in 2006 only one version charted and it charted under the name 'Three Lions {2006}' and was a re-release of the '98 version, but obviously that was a time when donwloads didn't have so much influence - I guess we'll only find out for sure on Sunday though.

Go K'naan and Shakira. :w00t: Wavin' Flag and Waka Waka are both amazing.

Hopefully, K'naan goes to #1 and Shakira gets into the top ten. :D

Jason should jump to 6 in no time

It may take a while as the pop bars are all shrunk due to how much Shout is selling.

Jason is back up to #7 now. Alejandro is #11, so it may kick Alica out of the top 10 soon (unless B.o.B. falls out of the top 10 first).

Not Myself Tonight is almost back in the top 40 (and there's two versions of it). Shakira is #23 and #100. Airplanes is falling fast still. It's #29 now.

Also, there's 19 Christina Aguilera songs in the top 1,000!

:w00t: ALEJANDRO! Top 10 here we come! :D

She's actually quite far away from Top 10, so I'm not sure she'll get there before Sunday.

Jason is up to #7, Pixie is now at #8.

Wooo come on derulo :)

+ gaga coming up!

Te Amo still has hope for top 10..

DeRulo done really well to get back up, after being deleted - almost seems like it's benefited him, incase he was falling.
^ He would still have been #/#6 if he wasnt deleted, but i'm hoping he'll get past usher to #6 in a while (before sunday's new releases)

My sister's playing the Bittersweet Symphony version of Ridin' Solo right now! :o

Also, it's nice that the UK was one of the first countries to get Ridin' Solo (I think only Australia got it before us). Makes a nice change. We're usually last for everything...

And, on that note, Lena is number-one in Europe now!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Europ...ne_hits_of_2010

At least the new European number-one has actually been released in the UK. Nice to know we've contributed a tiny bit.
