I just think it's pretty damn amazing that 22 years on Kylie Minogue can still make it into the top 5 in the UK and sell well digitally to boot. Not many other artists can say that. [with obvious exceptions].
All The Lovers is likely to go top 3. Top 5 at least. How doesn't she sell anymore?

It's just that non-urban pop dance is not flavour of the month right now. Look at Sophie Ellis Bextor, Alphabeat, or the Xenomania acts. Struggling. I love Kylie, I love the song, but she is selling a lot on national treasure factor, if you know what I mean

By the way, how's the Leona campaign going, I will download Outta My Head tomorrow :)

Kylie is in a different leaugue to Alphabeat and Sophie Ellis-Bextor who unfortunately won't even be playlisted by radio anymore.

We're probably reverting back to the stage of 2007 or so where only HUGE name acts can do really well with this style. i.e. Kylie, Girls Aloud, Madonna, Britney and now Lady GaGa.

IMO Kylie would eat KP for breakfast! :P

Not a chance, "California Gurls" is going to be gigantic. And I also like how people are saying "let's hope England don't win their next game so Shout drops". Point one, the chances of us not beating Algeria are pretty low and two, the game against the US just shows it doesn't really depend on the result, the mass coverage is enough to boost the football songs.

Calm down all all this talk over the footie songs!

I think it's great personally showing support and people are clearly downloading to get in the spirit of things and have a good time! Isn't that what music is for?

Yeah Kylie won't hit #1 but I'm sure her sales are exactly the same so it's not the end of the world...

I absolutely ADORE Robyn's new song only heard it yesterday and it's brilliant Top 5 please

Yes, i knew robyn would make it! Now she should hopefully be able to climb to about #6 and secure a top 10 place officially.
Kylie topping the charts would be better for our country than England winning the world cup

:dancing:

Of course it would.

NEW GLEE! (Before Season Finale airs tonight...)

177. 'Anyway You Want It'/'Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin''

214. 'Faithfully'

259. 'Don't Stop Believin' (Regionals Version)'

Hopefully AYWI/LTS remains ahead of all the others even after tonights ep airs! :D

Robyn really exceeding my expectations going top ten here :o Great song but her sound isn't exactly the 'in' thing at the moment, less so than when Dream On flopped into the top 30 just over 18 months ago. Great to see though, hope it goes top ten officially, to give her a 4th in total :D

And how do you know this. Have you asked everyone who has bought the single? think not

Or maybe, its because the general public actually may like the song. wow imagine that.

Yeah she may be a national treasure but how pathetic is it just to buy a song just becuase of that. Personally I buy a song becuase I like it, and im sure most of the music buying public do to.

you tell them! the difference between Kylie and those other acts is.. well.. Kylie is and always will be RELEVANT.

Always will be? I'm sure people were saying this about Madonna once, and barring "4 Minutes" her last era was pretty pointless.

Totally agree, this song is selling amazing, considering kylie did not have much success on the downloads front with her X era.

Not really, people said that about Madonna and i don't think she is that relevant any more.

"Wow" did well didn't it?
