So, err, why no surname....

She'll have to change it anyway, if she gets a deal, no WAY she can call herself just "Cher".....

Well, I guess if she was born with that name, not her fault. Blame her parents for being total dumbasses..... -_-

erm, the name tag said "Cher Lloyd"...

Cher, Cher Lloyd, or Cher Mykebab ... I don't care ... for me she is without doubt the best so far and if I was a betting person ... I'd put my money on her. Not only has she got a fab voice she is (or certainly comes across) as being really, really sweet. It doesn't do her any harm in that she looks gorgeous too. I'm normally very, very sceptical about X-F in that in all the previous series ... there are probably only two or three artists in total who I believe quite rightly got through to the final 12 (in total across the whole show since its beginnings) but unless she goes off on one and starts behaving like a Diva ... I'd support her all the way.

finally got round to watching the most recent episode and by gum is Cher overrated. The only reason people like her is because she is different to the usual XFactor contestant. Her voice is average at best. I also think they made her sound better than she actually is as having seen other performances by her she isn't even that good.

I've just watched it on youtube just to check that I wasn't going gaga over something unnecessarily ... but I haven't ... I still think she's great. From listening to that one performance I'm pretty certain that she could handle several musical genres. I noticed she's had over three million views so far so there are some others out there who like her.

i just feel that people are only liking her as she's on X Factor. There are so many people who do what she did much better.

...who are a lot older and most definitely a lot more experienced. I don't know how old Keri Hilson is, but Cher certainly out-did her on 'Turn My Swag On'!

I don't think so. There was a much bigger build up to Mary Byrne ... the exact words being 'this year's SuBo' ... and yet she's had only a fraction of the views Cher Lloyd has. I think its because Cher really is good.

Anyway if she goes further and gets through to the live finals we'll be given a chance to see her full potential. Who knows ... I may be proven wrong ... but there was a lot of range in that song she sang which leads me to believe she could cope with almost any style of singing. I'm sure if they had a week for Country and Western she could do that justice as well.

I'm with you completely Kathy. I've always said it about Keri too, she has a brilliant voice, that can be adapted to most other genres. Yeah she didn't sound too dissimilar to Keri Hilson herself, but considering she went on something like X Factor, received the praise she did from both the judges AND audience, just goes to show that this show needs something different from it's usual format. Props to her for actually having the guts and balls to attempt something different. When she started I was expecting Simon to cut her off, so i'm pleased he let her carry on, let alone give her air time! LOL.

It's also obvious, from her voice and her style, that she idolises Keri Hilson. Everything about that audition was perfect for me! I'm happy that she seems to have introduced people, who probably would never have thought about listening to anything like that before and introduced them to that genre and style of music.

Of course people are only giving her the attention because she was on X Factor, why else would she go on X Factor? But there's a reason as to why she's the most watched X Factor contestant on youtube so far. There's also a reason as to why she's STILL being talked about (4 days after her performance), and a reason as to why Keri Hilson herself and Tinie Tempah etc... have been bigging her up on twitter. If she reaches the finals, she's going a long way imo. Probably not win (as the early favourites never seem to win  - but usually if she doesn't win, it'll be for the best), but I think even if she doesn't make the final 12 she'll still get a deal. She's very likeable and obviously appeals to people.

I sound like a right loon now.

When I saw her interviewed on This Morning, it was just "Cher" on the caption....

Well it's not one appearance on This Morning that's gonna define her stage name.

She was introduced on the X Factor as "Cher Lloyd", so I think she's going with that stage name obviously.

I'm pretty sure Danyl Johnson would also be on This Morning as Danyl, the guy from the X Factor audition.

Cash, it was rather funny seeing one of his friends creasing up backstage

Didn't like that Cash guy at all, he was really full of it.

I actually shouted out "Yes! He Stinks!" when he started singing.

She is just a Cheryl Cole clone though, I saw her tv appearance and with her hair and tiny face it could almost have been Cheryl, she is so fake

Simon really torn the kid to shreds, Tom's vocals were pretty good, what an idiot.

Pixie: 'not right for the music industry today'

I wouldn't have said Pixie was either to be honest but she's managed to slot into the charts somehow with her updated take on the early 00's pop sound! Nobody else around is doing that type of thing and doing well with it anymore.

The guy has a lot of potential but needs moulding into shape like nearly all of the contestants are on their 'journey'.

He is best off in a boy band though, he is out dated even if he has a good voice, he is best off teaming up with one of the groups

That was just bizzare. Bar Louis the judges actually started saying relevant comments to the contestant instead of the usual bull$h!t they throw around, even Cheryl! And when Pixie did the right thing by not putting him through, Louis and the rent-a-mob persuaded her to put him through. Just when I'd gained just a bit of respect for her.

Young fresh meat for Louis, no wonder he wanted him through

If Simon gets the boys, the kid has got zip chance.
