Wow! Shocker about Alors on danse! I hope it does well, but I really just can't imagine hearing in on the radio!

 

And while we're on the 9th of August, Airplanes is clearly going to peak way before its release date, and the Ne-Yo song is already getting airplay! I've not minded Ne-Yo previously, but I think that song is quite boring. :(

Not what I was expecting, it has to be said :o their artists do alright with Radio 1 airplay usually so fingers crossed.

 

I do think AATW/3Beat have missed a trick not signing it first though - they managed to get Inna, Agnes, Edward Maya and now Yolanda Be Cool (which is also foreign language) so I wonder why they didn't try to get Stromae :o Unless Alors On Danse was part of a bidding war between labels of course...

Stromae's version of Alors on danse is already on iTunes, I've found out, so it'll (hopefully) do the whole climbing-slowly-up-the-chart-for-ages thing.

 

Or it'll just flop, and nobody will care. Judging by the success it's had in other countries though, I can't imagine it flopping. It's gone to number-one in most of the countries it's been released in in Europe, so it'll probably chart about #30 in the UK. :lol:

Indeed, will follow the trend of Satellite, I Like and Waka Waka. Why do these big Euro hits keep peaking between #30-40? :(
