'Shout' - Shout For England Feat. Dizzee Rascal & James Corden is the 6th UK No.1 Single,

with a Football Theme/Connection.

The 6 - so far - are:,

1) 'Back Home' - England World Cup Squad (3 Weeks at No.1 - 1970)

2) 'World In Motion' - Englandneworder (2 Weeks at No.1 - 1990)

3) 'Come On You Reds' - Manchester United F C with Status Quo (2 Weeks at No.1 - 1994)

4) 'Three Lions' - Baddiel & Skinnner & The Lightning Seeds (2 Weeks at No.1 - 1996)

5) '3 Lions '98' - Baddiel & Skinner & The Lightning Seeds (3 Weeks at No.1 - 1998)

6) 'Shout' - Shout For England Feat. Dizzee Rascal & James Corden (2010)

Apparently, Simon Cowell has been waiting for the 'right artists' to record 'Shout For England',

for 15 Years. How nice, that Simon - yet again - is really associated with old Songs, sampling,

& other people's work. The Man creates nothing.

I think that the Shakira Single, (No.38) - 'Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)', is a far better

Football Song - or Song, of any genre - than the rubbish at No.1....

You have to give him at least partial credit for not making it an all out cover - at least some work went into it, changing the lyrics to No Diggity and mashing it up with Shout.

By the way Zeus, you seem to have a bit of a problem with the crediting of it - it's officially credited to 'Shout For England feat. Dizzee Rascal and James Corden' and the song is just called 'Shout'.

I've altered the credits on the 'Shout' Single, now.

They may as well credit it to Shout AT England, if the English

Team play as half heartedly, as they did the other day, against

the USA!

As for Simon Cowell - why not just give him an Outstanding Contribution

Award at The BRITS? The joke may as well go the whole way.
