Hello :o

I'm back. I arrived home from Ireland on Sunday. Only to find I had no internet connection and my phone was all crackly. So I phoned BT. After going through 50 automated menus I finally got a BT engineer out this morning. He was up my pole (yet again) and replaced all my wiring (yet again).

So I'm now connected. I think it's the neighbour's tree causing havoc (yet again).

Anyway, that's not the funny part. After the BT engineer messed about up my pole for 2 hours he left. He appeared rather satisfied with his handiwork according to Mother Jupiter.

15 minutes later Mother Jupiter phoned me at work to tell me my neighbour had arrived. Her phone had inexplicably just gone 'dead'. She wanted to use our phone to phone for a BT engineer. I suspect my BT engineer has fixed my phone and killed my neighbour's.

* Killed my neighbour's phone I mean. Not killed my neighbours. That would be a bit extreme. -_-

Hi Flatty

I had a lovely time. Although everything was extremely expensive

That's always a downfall about holidays. :(

Killing your neighbour's phone was the guy's way of paying them back for their trouble causing tree perhaps :P

She never brings them home...Jups just leaves a string of broken hearts behind every time she goes on holiday

I hate the Village People

Would you rather I crank up some Elton John or some Wham! for you, Ossy???

No thanks, don't like either of them as well :P

Don't you hate those moments when you put your foot in your mouth? And then you try to explain and make it even worse...Yeah I had a day like that today :nocheer:

Oh well I don't have to see that person till Tuesday so I guess it'll be fine.

It's been very quiet around here lately  You all got real lives now???

I always seem to stivk me feet in me mouth.....up to the hips......

I'm just sitting here tryin to nurse me ankle, and avoid spam here....

Yay wafflin.....seems as everyone is out doing other stuff these days....which can be a good thing.....

Well what a bloomin week I've had :drama:

Mother Jupiter was rushed back into hospital. She was dangerously anaemic and had to have an emergency transfusion. She's home now but I feel I haven't had a minute to myself all week. Hence my absence from here.

But I'm starting reduced hours at work from next week so that should help me a bit. The cut in my wages won't help but hey, money isn't everything. <_<

She never brings them home...Jups just leaves a string of broken hearts behind every time she goes on holiday

Not this time. I couldn't understand a single thing anyone said  . The only person I managed to have a conversation with all week was a man in a pub in Dingle. And he turned out to be from Connemara, not from Kerry.

I hope so Flatty. I feel I'm spending 80% of my life in hospitals, doctors surgeries and chemist shops at the minute
