I was just going to say that. :o

Right, won't be here tomorrow. I'll let you know on Sunday how I enjoyed my Mrs Brown play at the Pavilion. :P

Night all

x

Can't wait to hear if Jups enjoyed that play or not

Oh Mrs Brown was absolutely hilarious. I loved it! Never laughed so much in years.

Not for people with sensitive ears though :P

Believe me, me ears aren't sensitive.....I have heard things that would make a sailor blush.....

Just in case you're wondering where I've gone these last few nights. I've got sciatica. Really bad. I'm in agony when I sit or lie down. So I haven't been on my PC at all. I've got the Deep Heat menthol stuff to rub into my leg. You'll probably smell me wherever you are. :(

I had sciatica once before. In my late twenties. It was torture for a couple of weeks then disappeared without trace. Now it has reappeared. On the opposite leg this time.

Wonder what has triggered it?

Anyway, I need to walk around some more. My twinges are starting. :arrr:

Speak soon.

PS. Any suggested cures would be most welcome.

I seem to recall sciatica as a pinched nerve of some sort...not sure what might cause it, other than possibly a bulging disc in the back, or, a mis-alignment of the spine.....I know someone else who had is quite badly, a few years back....their doctor had them on muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory stuff for a while...would chiropractic be of some assistance, Jups?

Ouch Jups that's not good. Sciatica is a pinched nerve usually caused by a herniated disc. Like Biggy said I'd suggest anti-inflammatorys and a visit to a chiropractic to see if they can't slip the disc back into place.

Also Biggy how goes the foot???

Ankle's doing better....been getting around without the crutches for 2 weeks now....go back to the orthopaedist in another 2 weeks time, for another check-up....still wearing this clunky boot the orthopaedist gave me on my first visit to him....

Oh yeah I see plenty of people in those boots at work, they might be crappy to wear but at least they do work.

So no surgery?

:( everyone seems to have aches and pains lately in here

Biggy and Jups, hope you get better soon.

@ Jups, I'ld see what your doctor says before visiting any chiropractices. I don't have much faith in them tbh.

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwww owwwwwwwwwwww owwwwwwwwwwwww. Going to give it the over weekend to improve. Then need to go see Doctor Quack if no better. I woke up at 5am this morning with the pain. Couldn't get comfortable.

Walking about helps. But don't really want to walk about all night.

Maybe it's a sign of old age Sparkx? :(

No, Ossy, no surgery.....

Chiropractors have worked for me in the past, so, I surely wouldn't say they're 'quacks'.....just an alternative to all kinds of meds, like an accupunctirist would be....

Ouch, sounds painful to put it politely. A colleague once had it and was off for a few weeks and couldn't move downstairs. Hope you're better soon Jups.

Glad you're getting better Biggie.

With the luck Jups has been having of late, Psycho Kitty's probably the cause of the sciatica....

As to Mikey's pic posted.....it was Jups, who killed Psycho Kitty, on the kitchen rug, in the kitchen, with the broom....  :P :P
