I've come to find out, that job I was offered in Afghanistan, has been rescinded.....didn't pass the physical, nor did I ask for an extension, in writing, in time, so I could try to lose the weight needed to pass the physical....hopefully, this staffing agency that sent me to North Dakota will have more work for me....

My phone line finally got reconnected yesterday after 6 days. And where was I last night you may ask? I was sleeping on my office floor covered by my tartan travel blanket. Couldn't get home. Roads all gridlocked by the snow. Finally arrived home at 7am this morning after spending 24 hours trapped in my office.

 

And that journey home was the eeriest thing ever. Abandoned cars and lorries everywhere. People wandering about in -14 temperature. It was like a disaster movie.

 

Anyway, here is my garden today. <_<
